Social media personality and her father die in plane crash
Residents of southern Tennessee were horrified this week after two people lost their lives in a plane crash.
According to WSMV4, Giles County Emergency Management revealed that Knoxville resident James Blalock and his daughter died on Thursday after their single-engine airplane went down.
Airport lost contact with plane at around 11:00 a.m.
Mr. Blalock and his daughter were the only two people aboard the plane, which was registered to Plantation Reclaimed Inc.
Capt. Joe Purvis serves with the Giles County Sheriff's Office, and he was quoted as saying that the crash occurred near Pulaski, close to the Marshall County line.

WSMV4 cited data from the website FlightAware.com, which indicates that the aircraft departed from Downtown Island Home Airport in Knoxville at 10:48 a.m.
Designated as TN: N5891j, the was headed for the Abernathy Field Airport in Pulaski which lost contact with it at around 11:00 a.m.
Crash victim was a social media figure who made videos about flying
WKRN reported that although a fire broke out in a wooded area where the plane crashed, the blaze was brought under control by emergency personnel.
Meanwhile, People magazine noted that 45-year-old Jenny Blalock was a social media personality whose YouTube page has over 15,000 followers.

Many of Blalock's videos feature her flying planes with her 78-year-old father and the latest upload was titled "Finding The Right Trainer Plane... For A Friend."
Fans lament Blalock's passing
Her channel's description reads, "Iām a private pilot, flying for fun in a Beechcraft debonair. My channel is about aviation and my journey flying to different places."
"Private pilots have a unique perspective on aviation that can be informative and entertaining. Owner of Plantation Reclaimed Inc. and Luxe Homes and Design. I LOVE to Fly! So stay tuned and enjoy my videos!" it added.
Fans quickly took to Ms. Blalock's Instagram page and posted tributes to the late pilot, including one that read, "So heartbreaking š sending lots of love hugs and prayers to her family and friends."
Another fan declared, "[I am] very saddened to hear this news. Many prayers going out to her Mom, family, and friends."
