A post to social media on Tuesday revealed that Vice President Kamala Harris met in person with Alexander Soros, the son of progressive billionaire George Soros, whose extraordinary wealth helps fund countless Democratic and leftist causes and organizations, Fox News reported.

That is a big deal in that it substantially undercuts the mainstream media's persistent, if obviously false, narrative that Soros, who is viewed with sharp skepticism by many conservatives and independents, is not particularly influential among Democrats and the ideological left, despite disbursing millions, if not billions of his own wealth in their support.

On Tuesday, Alexander Soros posted a tweet that was captioned "Great to catch up with Madame Vice President, @KamalaHarris!" and included a photo of himself alongside VP Harris.

Fox News noted that the reaction in the comments to that post, predominately from right-leaning Twitter users, was swift and fierce and more than a little sarcastic in also calling out the media establishment for its absurd narrative denying the overt influence that George Soros wields over Democrats and the progressive left.

"NOTHING TO SEE HERE FOLKS!"

Logan Dobson, a GOP political operative, retweeted the photo and asked, "Is it still offensive to say the Soros family has an outsize influence on Democratic politics?"

A similar response came from Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), who also retweeted the post from Soros and added, "It's laughable that the Left wants you to believe that the Soros family has no influence in politics."

Perhaps the most damning of all, though, was the tongue-in-cheek mockery of the liberal media's denials in retweets from right-leaning investigative researcher Parker Thayer, who not only shared the photo of Alexander Soros with VP Harris -- to which he wrote, "NOTHING TO SEE HERE FOLKS!" -- but also recent photos of the younger Soros with Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) earlier this month and with President Joe Biden in late April.

Of the photo with Schumer, Thayer said, "YOU’RE ALL JUST CONSPIRACY THEORISTS! THERE’S NOTHING GOING ON!" and with regard to the photo with Biden, tweeted, "SERIOUSLY, YOU’RE A DERANGED LUNATIC FOR THINKING ANYTHING UNUSUAL IS HAPPENING!"

Soros a regular visitor to the White House, with top Democratic lawmakers

According to Fox News, a review of the White House visitor logs that have been released to date show that Alexander Soros has visited the White House at least 17 times since President Biden took office in 2021, and while it remains unclear who exactly he has met with during those visits, he has been greeted and escorted by rather high-ranking staffers who work closely with the president.

That reportedly includes principal deputy national security adviser John Finer; adviser to the counselor of the president Mariana Adame; and senior Biden adviser Anita Dunn's special assistant to the president and chief of staff Jordan Finkelstein, to name just a few.

It is also known that on at least two prior visits, Soros met personally with former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain and, as noted in Thayer's brief thread of tweets, numerous top Democratic lawmakers in the Senate and House.

In fact, per Fox News' previous investigative reporting, the younger Soros has met with Sen. Schumer at least nine times and has met with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) no less than eight times.

But, yeah, according to the media and Democrats, conservative and independent Americans are foolish, if not even anti-Semetic, to suggest that George Soros wields substantial financial influence over the agenda and policies of the Democratic Party and the White House.
