Special prosecutor David Weiss thinks Joe Biden is lying about Hunter Biden legal saga
Special prosecutor David Weiss didn't wait long to file a court order after Joe Biden decided to pardon his son, Hunter Biden.
That's because Weiss has witnessed ENOUGH of the Biden family using America's political system as their own personal playground.
The worst part about Hunter Biden being pardoned is how adamant Joe Biden and the rest of the White House were when they were asked about whether Hunter Biden would be pardoned.
Lies, lies, lies
Even though we all know what miserable liars most of the liberal elite in this country are, some of us were still surprised when Joe Biden decided to pardon his son, Hunter Biden. That's because Joe Biden and the White House had told us for MONTHS that there was no way Joe would ever pardon Hunter Biden for these crimes.
Karine Jean-Pierre in particular was EXTREMELY condescending to any member of the media who dared ask her about whether or not Joe Biden would eventually pardon his baby boy.
When Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about the issue in July 2023, she gave a firm answer about whether or not Hunter Biden would be excused for failing to pay federal income tax.
"No," Jean-Pierre snapped.
She then interrupted the inevitable follow-up question, barking "I just said no!" before the reporter could finish the question.
Even Joe Biden said on June 6, 2024, that he would NOT pardon Hunter Biden.
Of course, the White House was lying all along. Now, the only question is whether or not Biden had planned to pardon Hunter Biden all along, or whether Joe just recently changed his mind. There's at least one man who thinks he knows the answer to that question:
Special Prosecutor David Weiss
Joe Biden made the pardon on the grounds that Hunter Biden would not have been prosecuted for these crimes if Hunter was the son of anyone else in the world. David Weiss doesn't think that's particularly true, however.
"There was none and never has been any evidence of vindictive or selective prosecution in this case," David Weiss said in a court filing immediately following the pardon.
Two IRS whistleblowers, Supervisory Special Agent Gary Shapley, and Special Agent Joe Ziegler, agree. They released a statement after Hunter Biden was pardoned:
"President Biden has the power to put his thumb on the scales of justice for his son, but at least he had to do it with a pardon explicitly for all the world to see rather than his political appointees doing it secretly behind the scenes. Either way, it is a sad day for law-abiding taxpayers to witness this special privilege for the powerful," they said.
"No amount of lies or spin can hide the simple truth that the Justice Department nearly let the President's son off the hook for multiple felonies. We did our duty, told the truth, and followed the law. Anyone reading the President's excuses now should remember that Hunter Biden admitted to his tax crimes in federal court, that Hunter Biden's attorneys have targeted us for our lawful whistleblower disclosures, and that we are suing one of those attorneys for smearing us with false accusations," they continued.
Hunter Biden is receiving special treatment because he is the president's son. Unfortunately, there might not be anything we can do about it now.
