Supreme Court Could Discount Mail-In Ballots In 2024 Election

One of the most controversial parts of the 2020 election was without a doubt the ballot system.

Mail-in ballots, absentee ballots, even in-person ballots were a complete mess in 2020.

America's Supreme Court seems ready to do something about it.

A court in Pennsylvania has issued a ruling about mail-in ballots that could lead to a MAJOR Supreme Court case with a huge impact on the 2024 presidential election.

As if the race needed anymore drama, this could kick up the battle between Donald Trump and Joe Biden an extra notch.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit ruled by a vote of 2 to 1 on March 27 that mail-in ballots without a handwritten date or with an incorrect date should not be counted.

We're talking about the president of America here.

If somebody doesn't even care enough about this nation's presidency to get the date right on their mail-in ballot, do they even deserve to have their vote counted?

The decision is expected to be quickly appealed to America's Supreme Court which would leave the Court with the power to make a final decision that could have a MASSIVE impact on the 2024 election.

Other elections that use mail-in ballots could be impacted as well, such as races for the House of Representatives or America's Senate.

Perhaps mostly because of COVID, America saw an astonishing number of mail-in ballots in the 2020 presidential election.

It has been estimated that 46% of all votes cast for the presidency in 2020 were via the mail-in method.

Biden will not be happy if this rule is allowed to stick, as more Biden voters used mail-in voting in 2020 than Trump voters.

"Pennsylvanians deserve to feel confident in the security of their mail ballots, and this 3rd Circuit ruling roundly rejects unlawful left-wing attempts to count undated or incorrectly dated mail ballots," said Republican National Committee Chair Michael Whatley.

"Republicans will continue to fight and win for election integrity in courts across the country ahead of the 2024 election," Whatley concluded.

What do you think about this decision by the three judges?

Should Americans be pumped or worried that mail-in voting is getting a little bit stricter?
