California used to be the dream destination for many Americans, given its beauty and land of opportunity.

That was especially true for aspiring actors and performers, as Hollywood was the best chance at a golden ticket to fortune and fame. However, in recent years, given the current state of the Golden State, many, including celebrities, have decided to pack up and move out.

According to Fox News, the Stallone family is a perfect example of celebrities who have decided to move elsewhere.

Sylvester Stallone's wife, Jennifer Flavin, recently opened up about her family's move out of California to their new residence in Florida.

"Incredible move"

During the recent inaugural "Rocky Day" celebration, Flavin spoke to Fox News Digital about her family's move from California to Florida, praising the massive change they've experienced since moving out.

"It’s an incredible move, I have to say I’m really happy with our move and our change," Flavin said.

She added, "I was born and raised there, two of our kids were born there, but now everyone’s out, our daughters moved to the East Coast … so there wasn’t really anything left for me in California."

"A few of our best friends also moved, so I think it’s [a] good change, just making new friends, living a totally different lifestyle, I love it, I’m really happy," she continued.

Her husband also recently spoke about their move to Florida in the opening scenes of his new Netflix documentary, "Sly." The legendary actor admitted that the move away from California was beneficial to his creative spark.

"I wasn’t moving because ‘Oh, wow, I wanted another beautiful view.’ Any time changing that paradigm which you become used to, it’s literally to jump-start that process again," Stallone said.

Home sold

Stallone ended up selling his California home to famed singer Adele. Notably, his home was complete with an iconic Rocky statue overlooking his pool.

At first, Stallone was set on taking the statue with him, but Adele reportedly said that would have been a deal-breaker.

"That’s a no-deal. That’s going to blow the whole deal," Adele reportedly said during negotiations. The home ultimately was sold to her for a staggering $58 million.

Stallone's family is just the latest in the ongoing exodus from California, which has been run into the ground by Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and his army of soft-on-crime prosecutors.
