The Federalist just exposed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) and other individuals who are currently using America's legal system to target former President Donald Trump.

The piece, Operation Deplorable: A Who's Who of the 'Get Trump' Crusade, is written by Tristan Justice.

The report focuses Bragg, New York Attorney General Letitia James (D), and New York Judge Arthur Engoron - who is overseeing the civil fraud case that James has brought against Trump.

It also focuses on special counsel Jack Smith - who has brought two criminal indictments against Trump on behalf of President Joe Biden's Department of Justice (DOJ) - Judge Tanya Chutkan - who is overseeing the election interference case that Smith has brought against Trump in Washinton, D.C. - and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis - who has criminally indicted Trump in Georgia regardingTrump's attempt to challenge Georgia's results in the 2020 presidential election.

The New York trio

The Federalist, in its report, gives the most space to Bragg, James, and Engoron. This is probably because the civil fraud case has really heated up recently, with the ongoing juryless trial that is looking to determine how to penalize Trump.

Bragg, however, is not involved in this trial. Rather, he has the distinction of bringing the first and, legal experts say, the weakest, criminal indictment against Trump. The charges stem from the so-called hush money payment that Trump made to adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016.

Not only does The Federalist show how Bragg campaigned essentially on a promise to pursue Trump, but it also shows how the Manhattan district attorney has been funded by far-left billionaire George Soros. "Bragg," according to the outlet, "has held up to the pledge by prioritizing Trump instead of dangerous criminals."

It is a similar story with James, who very clearly campaigned on "getting Trump." The Federalist supports this with reporting from the Associated Press. With the civil fraud case, James, the outlet reports, "is on the cusp of capturing Trump’s corporate exile from the Empire State."

Engoron is helping James to pull this off, ruling against Trump at just about every stage of the proceeding. The Federalist points out has Engoron has ruled against Trump by egregiously undervaluing Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, how Engoron has issued a gag order against Trump and his legal team, and how Engoron has fined Trump, multiple times.

The remaining three

Next up, The Federalist looks at Smith, highlighting his questionable legal background. The outlet notes how Smith has criminally indicted Trump, in part, "over objections to electoral certification, such as Democrats have made for decades." Smith also has deep Democratic ties, including through his wife, Katy Chevigny.

Then, there is Chutkan, whose own Democratic ties, by now, are well-established. Chutkan has been linked to Hunter Biden and former President Barack Obama, among others. And, she has also developed a reputation for punishing Jan. 6, 2021, defendants more harshly than requested by prosecutors, which some argue reveals her anti-Trump bias.

Lastly, there is Willis. The Federalist writes, "Willis’ investigation of Trump and the former president’s campaign team was one of her first acts in office and will define her legacy."

The outlet adds, "A September report from The Federalist revealed Willis possesses evidence exonerating Georgia’s alternate electors but continues to pursue criminal convictions anyway."

When you put all of this information together, side-by-side, it becomes clear that this is a concerted effort to "get Trump." The question, though, is how many Americans are aware of this. We should get the answer in 2024.
