On March 31, law enforcement in Colorado Springs, Colorado, apprehended a transgender person of the same age who was suspected of plotting to open fire on schools in the surrounding area of Colorado Springs.

Reduxx published its article on the news on April 6th. William Whitworth, a transgender person who was born male but now refers to himself as "Lilly" or "Lily," was born a boy, according to a report by Breitbart News.

After receiving a phone call from Whitworth's sister, who reported that he was "behaving violently and had made references to school shootings," police made contact with Whitworth.

Arrest Details

A report in the Gazette indicated that law enforcement discovered Whitworth passed out drunk in a room that was filled with rubbish. Two counts of “attempted first-degree murder” are included in the allegations brought against him.

According to Eric Ross, who works for the 18th Judicial District Attorney's Office, "Whitworth is in the process of changing to female."

According to Breitbart News, on March 27, a transgender individual who was 28 years old opened fire inside of a Christian school in Nashville, causing the deaths of three pupils and three adults. When she carried out her attack on the school, the transgender gunman had three firearms with her at all times.

This comes on the heels of a deathly shooting by a transgender-identifying person in Nashville, Tennessee that claimed the lives of six at a private school.

The Toll of Gender-Affirming Medications

Gender-affirming medications have been a topic of controversy in recent years. While they can provide relief for those who experience gender dysphoria, some experts have raised concerns about the potential mental health toll they can take on transitioning young people.

These medications, such as puberty blockers and hormone therapy, are commonly used for those who experience gender dysphoria. However, some mental health experts have raised concerns about the long-term impact of these medications on young people's mental health.

Some studies have suggested that using gender-affirming medications may be linked to an increased risk of depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation.

According to Dr. Lisa Littman, a researcher at Brown University, using gender-affirming medications can lead to significant mental health issues, particularly in young people who are still developing.

She suggests that young people who are prescribed these medications should be closely monitored by mental health professionals to ensure that they are receiving the appropriate support.

However, mental health experts have raised concerns about the potential mental health toll these medications can take, particularly in young people who are still developing.

It is important for young people who are prescribed these medications to receive close monitoring and support from mental health professionals to ensure their well-being.
