In a defiant speech following his unprecedented arraignment on federal charges Tuesday, Donald Trump pledged to dismantle the "communist" deep state and turn the tables on Joe Biden and his "crime family" if elected to another term in 2024.

Trump, who was charged by a Biden prosecutor with mishandling classified documents, declared "the seal is broken" as he urged Republicans to get "tough."

"I will appoint a real special prosecutor to go after the most corrupt president in the history of the United States of America, Joe Biden, and the entire Biden crime family," he said.

Trump's warning

The timing of the indictment is "no coincidence," Trump said, noting that evidence has surfaced of a $5 million bribe that Biden allegedly took from Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian company where his son Hunter Biden held a lucrative position.

Biden infamously pressured Ukraine to fire a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma, Viktor Shokin. The day before Trump's arraignment, Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) alleged that the Burisma executive who bribed Biden has secret recordings of their conversations.

"Just yesterday, Senator Grassley revealed that the Burisma executive who allegedly paid the bribe reportedly has Crooked Joe on tape," Trump said. "They got him and Hunter on 17 different tapes, supposedly, but the FBI isn't showing them."

Biden also kept classified documents in his garage, but an investigation into the matter is apparently dormant, Trump noted.

"Joe Biden had troves of classified documents from his time as vice president and even as a senator," Trump said, yet "nothing happens to Crooked Joe."

"They're coming after you"

Trump said the day of his indictment would be remembered as the moment "the most corrupt president in the history of our country" tried to "destroy American democracy" by having his top political opponent arrested.

Trump said he is being persecuted by "thugs" and "Marxists" who have shielded Democrats like the Bidens and Hillary Clinton from accountability for criminal behavior.

"If the communists get away with this, it won't stop with me. They will not hesitate to ramp up their persecution of Christians, pro-life activists, parents attending school board meetings, and even future Republican candidates.....we must end it permanently and we must end it immediately."

If elected in 2024, Trump said he would "totally obliterate the deep state."

"They're not coming after me, they're coming after you, and I just happen to be standing in their way and I will never be moving," Trump said.
