As former President Donald Trump's "hush money" trial came to a close during the final day of closing arguments, some of the former president's family members made an appearance. 

According to the Daily Mail, Tiffany Trump, the former president's daughter with Marla Maples, came to the trial to show support for her father after her name was dropped by DA Alvin Bragg's star witness, Michael Cohen.

Trump's youngest daughter reportedly came to the trial just days after Cohen said during his testimony that she had been the victim of an extortion plot.

Accompanying her were her half-brothers, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.

What's going on?

Todd Blanche, Donald Trump's lawyer for the trial, asked Cohen about an alleged extortion plot involving Tiffany Trump during his cross-examination of the former president's "fixer."

The Daily Mail noted:

It was part of an effort to undercut Cohen's own testimony that he was speaking to Trump about the Stormy Daniels matter during a critical period, rather than other matters that might have risen to the top of his to-do list.

"You agree with me, right, that you had a lot going on both in your personal life and with President Trump in those first two weeks of October?" Blanche asked Cohen.

"You recall on October 25th, you recall her communicating with you concerns about somebody trying to blackmail her?" Blanche continued, to which Cohen replied, "yes, sir."

The outlet added:

Blanche later established through text messages that Cohen was also dealing with a prank caller at the time, and accused him of lying about ever discussing the Stormy Daniels pay off during the call.

Low profile

Tiffany Trump has rarely been spotted out with her father during his time in politics, compared to her other siblings.

Her last major apperance with dad was at the 2016 Republican convention.

That doesn't mean she hasn't been active in supporting her father's political ambitions, especially this election cycle. Tiffany Trump's husband, Michael Boulos, and his billionaire Lebanese father, have been busy working to garner support for the former president from the Arab-American community.

It's unclear if Tiffany Trump will make any more public appearances with her father.
