Tim Walz says losing election to Donald Trump was 'pure hell'
Former Vice President Kamala Harris raised eyebrows late last year when she released a bizarre post-election video on social media.
While some critics suggested that the former Democratic nominee was intoxicated or suffering from depression, her running mate recently confirmed that losing the race "was hell."
Walz speaks of "the disappointment and the frustration"
According to Fox News, the admission was made by Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz during a media appearance on Tuesday.
"To the voters, I'm with this too. Everybody's fatigued. Trust me, I get it," Walz was quoted as telling MSNBC host Rachel Maddow.
"It was pure hell, and the disappointment and the frustration, and I'm, you know, soul-searching – what could we have done to make the case?" Walz complained
"Because we knew this was coming. We knew the implication. And they're throwing so much at us that we're fatigued," he added.

Walz also sounded an ominous note regarding the future, saying, "You know that overused term, 'The frog in the boiling water?' We've been in the damn pot way too long."
The governor also gave credence to allegations that Tesla CEO Elon Musk gave a Nazi salute following President Donald Trump's inauguration, a claim Musk himself has made light of.

However, Walz quickly dismissed the issue as "a distraction" and told Democrats to concern themselves with Musk's work as head of the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Walz said he is "worried with these federal employees because look, they're in a tough spot, that some of these folks, especially those that are doing good work around environmental concerns, around justice for people, around, you know, criminal justice reform, all of the things that make our society better."
Minnesota governor: Democrats must "push back" and "be organized"
What's more, he said opponents of the Trump administration should focus on "speaking up" and "thinking about your neighbors" as well as writing to members of Congress.
"So I would tell people, stay focused. Don't take the bait on the distractions," the governor and former congressman stressed.
Walz went on to insist that Democrats "have to find that voice" and "push back," declaring that it is time "to be organized."
