Trump announces Qatar to gift the Defense Department a free Boeing 747 luxury jet
Even though he's president once again, that doesn't stop Donald Trump from making great deals -- this time for the American taxpayer.
According to Breitbart, Trump announced a major deal involving a reportedly free luxury 747 airliner meant to temporarily replace Air Force One, gifted to the United States by the Qatar government.
The president bragged about the deal in a Truth Social post over the weekend, noting that "loser" Democrats insist that America pay top dollar for such an aircraft instead of hammering out a deal for a free one.
Not surprisingly, the reports were contested, with Qatari media claiming that the deal was merely "under consideration" and not yet finalized, though that didn't stop Trump from announcing it.
What's going on?
The president held nothing back in his Truth Social post announcing the major deal.
“So the fact that the Defense Department is getting a GIFT, FREE OF CHARGE, of a 747 aircraft to replace the 40 year old Air Force One, temporarily, in a very public and transparent transaction, so bothers the Crooked Democrats that they insist we pay, TOP DOLLAR, for the plane,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
“Anybody can do that! The Dems are World Class Losers!!! MAGA.”
The reports were challenged by Ali Al-Ansari, Qatar’s Media Attaché to the U.S.
While reports have surfaced regarding the Trump administration reportedly preparing to accept the luxury Boeing 747 plane from Qatar, Ali Al-Ansari, Qatar’s Media Attaché to the U.S. issued a statement describing the reports as “inaccurate” and said the “possible transfer of an aircraft” to temporarily serve as Air Force One was “under consideration.”
"Reports that a jet is being gifted by Qatar to the United States government during the upcoming visit of President Trump are inaccurate,” Al-Ansari said.
“The possible transfer of an aircraft for temporary use as Air Force One is currently under consideration between Qatar’s Ministry of Defense and the US Department of Defense, but the matter remains under review by the respective legal departments, and no decision has been made.”
Trump crushes ABC when they grill him about Qatar's gift of a free jet:
"You're ABC fake news, right?...You should be embarrassed asking that question. They're giving us a free jet...It's not a gift to me—it's a gift to the Department of Defense. And you should know better… pic.twitter.com/xy0xHG5NYG

Social media reacts
Users across social media weighed in on the news of the free airliner. Many were concerned that it would be loaded with spy equipment.
"I'll bet any money it's full of surveillance equipment, and possibly a kill-switch," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "lol I’m so tired of democrats… only thing they are good at is complaining."
Trump clearly made a great deal, and Democrats simply can't handle it.
