Trump bringing Diet Coke button back to White House

When President-elect Donald Trump moves back into the White House on January 20, he'll have access to a button he can push to have Diet Coke brought to him, just like he did four years ago when he was last living there.

The process of the Bidens moving out and the Trumps moving in will take about five hours and is carefully planned months in advance according to the preferences of the incoming family, according to the Daily Mail.

There are about 100 employees who work at the White House, and they are nonpolitical and take care of the needs of whichever family resides there.

When the Trumps arrive after the Inauguration Day ceremony and events, they will find their clothes in their closets and the foods they like in the kitchen.

No mysteries

It's the same for any incoming president, but it's probably easier for the staff members since the Trumps lived there before.

"There aren't any mysteries about what [the Trumps] would they like to have for breakfast, how they operate, what kind of shampoo they use. I mean, they know everything already," author of The Residence Kate Andersen Brower said.

Reportedly, the staff likes the Trumps--he used to hand out $50 bills to tip them, from what the Daily Mail reported.

It's all taken care of

If Vice President Kamala Harris had won the election, the staff would have done research on their preferences instead.

They probably could have gotten a lot of information from the Naval Observatory where vice presidents live.

The White House has butlers, maids, housekeepers, chefs, cooks, doormen, florists, curators, electricians, plumbers, storekeepers, and engineers, among others.

The family does not even have to walk their own pets while living there; staff members do it for them.

Moving out

The Bidens won't have to pack up to leave any more than the Trumps have to pack up to move in.

The staff does that for them as well, including giving them the flag that flew over the White House on their last day there.

One of the groundskeepers will probably get the job of transporting Willow the cat for the Bidens, since he is very fond of animals.

When Melania Trump lived in the White House last, she did extensive renovations on many damaged and outdated areas in consultation with top designers.

This time around, she will be splitting her time between New York where her son Barron attends college and D.C.
