Trump calls out Harris's heritage, reminds followers that she's Indian and not Black

Now that Vice President Kamala Harris is the Democratic Party's presidential nominee, she and others are pushing her heritage as a selling point for the job, as the left tends to do.

The problem is that Harris is extremely quick to pretend that she's Black when in reality, she's historically promoted her strong Indian heritage -- which wasn't lost on former President Donald Trump.

According to Breitbart, Trump has made it a point to note that Harris has always been proud of her Indian heritage, but all of a sudden, when Black support is needed on her end, she suddenly makes it appear as if she's from an all-Black family.

Trump was recently asked about the mixed signals she's sending, depending on her audience at any given time.

What did he say?

Earlier this week, while he spoke at the National Association of Black Journalists Convention (NABJC) in Chicago, Illinois, Trump was asked "if he believes Harris is “only on the ticket because she is a black woman."

His response was spot-on, and he held nothing back when explaining his thoughts.

"Well, I can say no. I think it’s maybe a little bit different. I’ve known her a long time indirectly — not directly very much — and she was always of Indian heritage," Trump said.

The former president added, "And she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn’t know she was black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn black, and now she wants to be known as black. So, I don’t know, is she Indian, or is she black?"

Mike Davis, founder and president of the pro-Trump Article III Project, added, "Kamala Harris is Indian when she’s raising money and black when she’s pandering for votes."

Harris trolled

Trump really drove the point home about Harris's racial switch up with picture he posted to his Truth Social account, which showed Harris with her Indian relatives.

"Thank you Kamala for the nice picture you sent from many years ago!" Trump posted. "Your warmth, friendship, and love of your Indian Heritage are very much appreciated."

The day before, Trump wrote, "I didn’t know she was black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn black, and now, she wants to be known as black."

It appears that race will play a role in the upcoming election, that's for sure.
