Trump dismisses video showing object thrown from White House window as 'A.I. generated'
Questions were raised this week following the emergence of a video which appears to show an object being tossed out of a White House window.
However, President Donald Trump was quick to dismiss the footage, suggesting that it is likely an A.I.-generated fake.
Trump: "You actually can't open the windows"
According to the Daily Mail, Trump's comments came during a press conference that he held in the Oval Office on Tuesday afternoon.
Called it!
President Trump said the viral video of something being thrown out a White House window is AI!The windows are bulletproof glass, weigh 600 pounds and are sealed shut!

"No, that's probably A.I. generated," the president said when asked about the subject by Peter Doocy, who serves as Fox News' senior White House correspondent.
"You actually can't open the windows, you know why? They're all heavily armored and bulletproof," Trump went on to point out.
President jokes that the first lady wishes she could open a window
When Doocy approached the podium and showed Trump the clip on his phone, the president reiterated his stance, stating, "Yeah those windows are sealed...you can't open them."
"My wife was complaining about it the other day," Trump said jokingly. She said, 'I'd love to have a little fresh air come in.' But you can't, they're bulletproof."
However, the Daily Mail noted that Trump's comments are at odds with an earlier explanation which the White House had previously offered.
A spokesperson was quoted as telling the newspaper that the video showed "a contractor who was doing regular maintenance while the president was gone."
Trump says A.I. is "both good and bad"
Meanwhile, the New York Post reported that Trump used the controversy as an opportunity to discuss the benefits and dangers which A.I. can create.
"One of the problems we have with A.I., it’s both good and bad. If something happens really bad, just blame A.I.," the president observed.
"But also they create things. You know, it works both ways. If something happens that’s really bad, maybe I’ll have to just blame A.I.," Trump continued.
"I see so many phony things. I saw something as I was growing up, from the time I was a baby until now. I said, ‘Who did that?’ It was A.I. generated. So it’s a little bit scary to be honest with you, but those windows are all very heavily sealed," he added.
