Trump dominates Biden in all swing states and national polling
The left has tried everything possible to stop former President Donald Trump, but he keeps on winning.
That was true after his indictments, his arrest, and his guilty verdict that landed him 34 felony charges. And it's also true following an assassination attempt that ultimately made him stronger than ever.
According to Red State, in the first post-shooting poll, the former president was once again leading the polls against President Joe Biden.
The Emerson College poll showed Trump in a strong position to win in November as panic continues to blossom on the other side of the political aisle.
Bombshell polling data
The new poll, which was conducted earlier this week by Emerson College and sponsored by Democrats for Next Generation, showed Trump not only beating Biden on a national level, but also in seven key swing states.
The polling data is an absolute nightmare for President Biden's campaign as it continues to struggle through growing uncertainty of whether or not he'll be on the ticket by November.
The poll noted:
In the July 15-16 national poll, 46% of registered voters support Trump, and 42% support Biden; 12% are undecided. There has been a two-point drop in Biden’s support since earlier this month, where 46% supported Trump, and 44% supported Biden.
Emerson College's polling executive director broke down the results.
"Recent polling shows Biden losing support more significantly than Trump gaining it since the attempted assassination. This raises questions about whether Biden’s decline is still influenced by the debate or if Trump has reached his support ceiling," Kimball said.
The results, especially from the swing states, were telling. Trump is smashing Biden in several states that were once fairly even, if not leaning toward Biden.
The results
Swing state results were decisively in Trump's favor.
The outlet reported the following results -- Arizona: Trump 46%, Biden 36%, other candidates 8.2%; Georgia: Trump 44%, Biden 39%, other candidates 9.3%; Michigan: Trump 43%, Biden 40%, other candidates 8.3%; Nevada: Trump 43%, Biden 40%, other candidates 9.2%; North Carolina: Trump 47%, Biden 38%, other candidates 8.7%; Pennsylvania: Trump 46%, Biden 40%, other candidates 6.3%; Wisconsin: Trump 46%, Biden 43%, other candidates 6.5%," according to the data.
On a national level, Trump beat Biden 44% to 38%, marking a huge shift toward Trump's side.
In recent days, emerging reports heavily suggest that Biden is set to announce that he's stepping out of the race, potentially putting Vice President Kamala Harris or another Democrat at the top of the ticket. Only time will tell.
