Trump grand ballroom paid for by multiple companies, wealthy individuals
The way liberals and their media allies talk about it, one would think President Donald Trump is tearing down the entire White House on the U.S. taxpayers' dime.
However, that couldn't be further from the truth, as the president is renovating the existing ballroom and making it significantly larger and better, and according to the New York Post, the $300 million bill is being footed by top donors and several corporations.
Trump's renovated ballroom, a 90,000-square-foot grand hall, "will soon sit at the north end of the executive mansion’s East Wing," the report noted.
Democrats have gone absolutely bonkers in their attempt to turn such a wonderful upgrade to the White House into something negative -- even trying to link it to their hysterical "no kings" nonsense.
What's going on?
The grand ballroom will be funded by a number of individuals and companies, including crypto companies like Coinbase and Gemini.
Other massive corporations chipping in include Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Meta. Between those companies and individuals like Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and his family, President Trump made a pretty sweet deal that doesn't cost us a dime.
The president has grand intentions for his soon-to-be-constructed ballroom, noting that he's taking inspiration from his own luxurious ballroom at Mar-a-Lago.
The Post noted:
Trump has said he hopes the ballroom will reflect the gilded splendor of his Mar-a-Lago club’s main dining room — and be able to accommodate foreign dignitaries for state dinners as well as others for major events.
Last week, he made it clear to his donors that the new White House ballroom will be a structure unlike anything else in the entire world.
“We’re gonna have a phenomenal ballroom, this is gonna be one of the best anywhere in the world. There won’t be anything like it, actually," Trump said at the time.
He added, "And it’s four sides of glass, beautiful glass, but totally appropriate in color and in window shape, and everything else with the White House."
Social media reaction
The ballroom project is all the rage across social media, and many had their own thoughts on what's happening with it.
"The best part about this faux outrage over Trump building a White House ballroom is that every future President, including Democratic administrations, is going to use it constantly," Geiger Capital wrote on X.
Another X user wrote, "That's how much Trump loves our country. Many Presidents before him have wished for a grand ballroom. Trump builds it and gives it to all future Presidents."
