The liberal media is so desperate to find something -- anything -- to use against former President Donald Trump to derail his 2024 election campaign that they've resorted to pointing out former First Lady Melania Trump's perceived absence.
Anti-Trump operatives from both sides of the aisle have launched nasty attacks regarding the issue, focusing on the "Where's Melania?" narrative.
Someone even hired a pilot to drag a "Where's Melania?" banner across the sky over the Iowa State Fair earlier this month. To say it's ridiculous is an understatement.
According to The Independent, the former president addressed the issue recently, revealing when his wife will join him on the campaign trail.
When asked by "Meet the Press" host Kristen Welker when America might see Melania join him on the campaign trail, Trump responded confidently.
"Yeah. Pretty soon," Trump said, adding, "When it’s appropriate, but pretty soon."
"She’s a private person, a great person, a very confident person," he continued. "And she loves our country very much."
"She's right now with Barron in school. She loves that boy. ... She'll be with us. She's very, very supportive"

Trump also said Melania has been out of the public light to allow her to watch over their son, Barron Trump. Previous reports indicated that she's worried about his exposure to the media, especially as he nears the age of 18.
Other reports indicated that Melania was not interested in getting involved with her husband's legal issues, including court appearances that she reportedly refused to attend. And who can blame her? There's no need for her to go, as her husband is capable of handling that on his own.
As The Hill and others previously reported, Ivanka Trump, his oldest daughter and a prominent figure during his 2016 and 2020 campaigns, won't be joining in on the 2024 trail.
Again, her reasoning is understandable, as she recently said she's rather focus on her family, and especially her young children. She noted that she loves her father, but is prioritizing her immediate family, which nobody could be blamed for doing.
"I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family,” Ivanka said. She added, "I do not plan to be involved in politics."
Nasty, anti-Trump operatives would love nothing more than for Trump's own family to turn on him, but it'll never happen. They've clearly got his back, and when the time is right, they'll voice their support as needed.
