Trump pledges no tax on Social Security income while mocking Harris for stealing his tips policy
Critics derided Vice President Kamala Harris earlier this month after she blatantly copied former President Donald Trump's plan to exclude tips from income tax.
Trump made note of that fact during a recent speech in which he also proposed making Social Security income untaxed as well.
Trump: "I said that months ago"
According to Breitbart, Trump made that suggestion over the weekend while addressing a crowd in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
"To get economic relief to workers and families, I will make the Trump tax cuts permanent, and we will have no tax on tips, which she copied," Trump said of his rival.

"To get economic relief to workers and families, I will make the Trump tax cuts permanent, and we will have no tax on tips, which she copied," the former president continued.
"You all know by now, she came out a few days ago and she said, 'There will be no tax on…' I said, 'I said that months ago,'" Trump said to a chorus of cheers.
Trump says Social Security plan will "help seniors on fixed incomes"
"But, here's one that she hasn’t copied yet," the Republican Party's nominee declared. "To help seniors on fixed incomes who are suffering the ravages of horrible inflation caused by Crooked Joe and Kamala, there will be no tax on social security."
"To help seniors on fixed incomes who are suffering the ravages of horrible inflation caused by Crooked Joe and Kamala, there will be no tax on social security," Trump stressed.
And, I get it done. I will get it done," the former president pledged. "They won't. They haven't even promised it to you, but, they won't get it done if they do."
Breitbart noted that Trump had earlier promoted the same message in a post on Truth Social, writing, "SENIORS SHOULD NOT PAY TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY!"
Rideshare drivers express support for tip proposal
Meanwhile, Fox News reported just over a week ago that Trump's proposal to lift taxes on tip income was well-received by rideshare drivers in Las Vegas.
One man indicated that he is a registered Democrat yet now plans to cast a ballot for the former president in November.
What's more, he also spoke of a friend who was not previously a Trump supporter but has since decided to change her vote over the tip issue.
