Trump posts speculation about Biden's status
The drama surrounding the events of former President Joe Biden's life appears to still be in full swing, even months after he departs from office.
In addition to his recent diagnosis with cancer, it seems questions about his very existence are still at the forefront for some, as Fox News reported.
Over the weekend, President Trump posted to social media, stating that Vice President Joe Biden passed away in 2020 and was succeeded by clones.
From his official account on Truth Social, Trump shared the post's link on Saturday. This came in response to threads concerning Biden's health, a minor account on the site published the post.
From the post
"There is no Joe Biden – executed in 2020," the post says. "Biden clones, doubles and robotic engineered soulless, mindless entities are what you see."
"Democrats don't know the difference," it adds, before listing a litany of hashtags.
Trump only shared the link on his personal account; he did not add any words to the post.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from journalists, asking for clarification about the post.
More social content
On Saturday night, Trump shared a number of links to postings on Truth Social, but he did not add comments from his own perspective.
In the majority of the posts, Trump's efforts to bring steel manufacturing back to the United States were outlined.
The post for Saturday comes in the midst of fresh criticism regarding Biden's health while he was in office.
The days that have passed since President Biden made the announcement that he has stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer, a diagnosis that generally takes years to develop, have been filled with speculation.
More questions
Some have speculated, based on the details of the diagnosis, that while trying to run Joe Biden for reelection, members of the previous administration knew about the cancer but chose to keep it a secret.
The president and first lady responded, as expected, when news of the diagnosis broke.
Trump said he and first lady Melania Trump said they were "saddened" to learn of Biden's diagnosis and wished him a "fast and successful recovery" in a previous post on social media around the time that the diagnosis was made public.
"Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis," Trump wrote. "We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery."
