Former President Donald Trump called the latest revelations about alleged Biden family corruption "100 times bigger than Watergate." 

According to Fox News, Trump said as much during a speech that he gave at the Faith & Freedom Coalition's Road to Majority conference that was held on Saturday in Washington D.C.

IRS Criminal Supervisory Special Agent Gary A. Shapley Jr. has provided to Congress a text message in which Hunter Biden appears to be trying to pressure a Chinese investor into sending him millions of dollars.

The kicker is that, in the text message, Hunter Biden says that his father, President Joe Biden, was right beside him.

Biden was there!

Here's the message:

[W]e obtained a July 30th, 2017, WhatsApp message from Hunter Biden to Henry Zhao, where Hunter Biden wrote: “I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.

If true, then this would appear to be political corruption. But, in addition to the corruption, it would destroy the Biden administration narrative that Joe Biden essentially had no knowledge or involvement in his son's international business dealings.

The White House has, thus far, not commented on the text message. A lawyer for Hunter Biden has, by releasing a statement that attempts to attack the credibility of Shapley.

Shapley's lawyer says that his client "wanted to just bring this out to the public as a whistleblower in a protective fashion so that everybody could judge it."

Fox News separately reported, "A bank account linked to President Biden's son Hunter Biden received more than $5 million in August 2017, shortly after his threatening messages . . ."

"100 times worse than Watergate"

Trump weighed in on this whole situation during his speech on Saturday.

Taking aim at Hunter Biden, Trump said, "I didn’t know he was that tough!"

Trump, later on, described the situation as "truly 100 times bigger than Watergate," adding, "This is a much bigger story than Watergate.

Elsewhere in his speech, Trump attempted to tie Biden to China, referring to Biden as a "compromised president," suggesting that Biden is essentially in Biden's pocket and that this is why the Biden administration has essentially been allowing China to have its own way.

In contrast, Trump said that, if he is reelected to the U.S. presidency, he will "drop the hammer" on China.
