Former President Donald Trump responded to Hunter Biden's deal on three federal charges by reminding Americans that he predicted the outcome.

Trump stated that he had previously noted that Biden would be found guilty of "something small" but would not face major consequences.

“They are the Party of Disinformation!” Trump posted on Truth Social on June 6.

“They’ll hit Hunter with something small to make their strike on me look ‘fair.’ Nothing about these Fascists is fair or honest. FIGHT!” he added.

The charges

Hunter Biden was charged with two counts of tax evasion and a plea bargain on a firearms charge.

"As part of the agreement, made public Tuesday, Hunter Biden will plead guilty to misdemeanor tax offenses and is expected to reach an agreement with prosecutors on the felony charge of illegally possessing a firearm as a drug user. It is somewhat unusual to resolve a federal criminal case at the same time the charges are filed in court, though it is not totally unheard of," the Associated Press reported.

"The deal ends a long-running Justice Department investigation into Biden’s second son, who has acknowledged struggling with addiction following the 2015 death of his brother Beau Biden. It also averts a trial that would have generated days or weeks or distracting headlines for a White House that has strenuously sought to keep its distance from the Justice Department," it added.

Trump wrote on Truth Social after the announcement of Hunter Biden's case as well.

"Wow! The corrupt Biden DOJ just cleared up hundreds of years of criminal liability by giving Hunter Biden a mere 'traffic ticket.' Our system is BROKEN!" he posted.

The news about Hunter Biden does not end the investigation of the first son by the House Oversight Committee. Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has stated that he plans to continue the investigation over allegations of bribes between the Biden family and international businesses.

The latest prediction and fulfillment by Trump has him fired up as the push against Hunter Biden continues ahead of the 2024 election.
