Trump sends the 'Night Stalkers' to Venezuela
President Donald Trump has decided to send the elite military unit known as the "Night Stalkers" to Venezuela.Â
This comes, according to the Daily Mail, as the Trump administration continues to crack down on, among other things, "narco-terrorists."
Trump just carried out his latest strike on a drug-carrying submarine.

Trump deploys the Night Stalkers
For those unfamiliar with this elite unit, the New York Post provides some background.
The outlet writes:
An elite Army unit capable of inserting some of the American military’s most deadly special operations forces into a fight has been deployed to the Caribbean as President Trump exerts an increasing show of force in Venezuela. The 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, known as the vaunted “Night Stalkers,” operates attack helicopters like the Army’s MH-60 Black Hawks and small transport helicopters into the most perilous situations.
The Post goes on to explain that "The 'Night Stalkers' are able to deposit highly trained fighters, including Navy SEALs, Army Green Berets, or Delta Force personnel, into battle zones."
Venezuela is said to be mobilizing its military in response.
The Daily Mail reports:
Military experts say the true size of [Nicolas Maduro's] army is just 125,000 soldiers and his rusty Soviet-era hardware stands no chance against America's warfighting machine. Trump has deployed B-52 nuclear bombers, guided missile destroyers, F-35B fighter jets, P-8 Poseidon spy planes, a nuclear submarine and around 6,500 troops.
Trump drops the "F-bomb"
Last week, Trump made it clear to Maduro that he and the United States military are not messing around.
During a publicized cabinet meeting, Trump revealed that Maduro has offered the United States "everything" to stay in power.
Trump said, "He has offered everything. He’s offered everything; you’re right. You know why? Because he doesn’t want to f*** around with the United States."
The president did indeed use the "F" word.
Breitbart News reports:
The Trump administration has focused its foreign policy heavily on Latin America, particularly combating the malign influence of the Venezuelan regime and its patron state, communist Cuba. As part of these efforts, the Trump administration increased an already existing bounty on Maduro himself to $50 million for information leading to his capture. While extensive evidence has documented over a decade of human rights atrocities committed by Maduro, including the mass slaughter of Venezuelan civilians, the Trump administration has primarily opposed Maduro in response to his leadership of transcontinental drug trafficking operations and his association with the Tren de Aragua terrorist gang.
