Former President Donald Trump is making the rounds in the lead-up to the 2024 presidential race.
According to WNIK, his latest stop was in Fort Meyers, Florida, where he addressed the Lee County Republicans. His messaging was crystal clear, as far as his outlook on what he plans to do for his second term in office, should he secure victory next year.
Michael Thompson, chairman of Lee County Republican Executive Committee, was happy to have Trump speak, though he stopped short of offering an endorsement.
Trump has racked up several endorsements from prominent Florida politicians, which presents a challenge for Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, should he formally declare his 2024 White House intentions in the coming weeks and months.
The former president ran through many of his talking points as far as how he plans to get America back on track after the Biden administration ruined it. He also touted his 2016 win, which he says saved the GOP.
"To put it simply, on election day in 2016, we didn't just save America. We saved the Republican Party. We did," Trump said.

Trump also spent time insisting that the 2020 election was stolen from him.
"Then, despite four years of deranged opposition like no other president has ever faced, we did even better the second time than we did the first, getting more votes in 2020 than any sitting president in American history, by far," Trump said.
He then took a massive shot at the GOP RINO establishment, saying, "In 2024, the path to victory is clear: we have to FINISH what we started. We have to see this evolution through to its completion. The old Republican Party of RINOs, Neo-cons, and Globalists is GONE—and it is NEVER coming back."
Trump made headlines shortly after the event, stopping by a local popular pizza place alongside Republican Rep. Byron Donalds.

The former president also reportedly purchased pizza for everyone inside the restaurant.
It's clear that Trump is making big moves and is dead-set on winning the Republican nomination. Only time will tell.
