Recent declassified documents revealed that former President Joe Biden's Department of Justice launched an operation that targeted nearly 100 Republican and conservative-aligned groups and people.

Slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk's organization, Turning Point USA, was on that list, and according to The Hill, President Donald Trump isn't happy about that revelation. 

Trump slammed former special counsel Jack Smith and the Biden administration for targeting Turning Point USA as part of its "Arctic Frost" operation. He tore both entities a proverbial new one in a Truth Social post this week.

The president claimed that the desired result of the Biden-run DOJ's investigation into numerous conservatives was to "run them out of business," much like what happened under former President Barack Obama.

What's going on?

The bombshell revelation that some 92 conservative groups and conservative-linked individuals were targeted in "Arctic Frost" was made possible after Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) released the information during a Senate hearing this week.

"Since the Trump administration took power, many FBI agents have been removed," Grassley, chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said at the hearing.

He added, "The removals included agents and prosecutors who became partisan weapons that lost their way, and I’ve made records public to prove it."

President Trump held nothing back in a Truth Social post excoriating Smith, Biden and others involved.

"Why was the wonderful Turning Point under INVESTIGATION by 'Deranged' Jack Smith and the Corrupt & Incompetent Biden Administration. They tried to force Charlie, and many other people and movements, out of business. They Weaponized the Justice Department against Sleepy Joe Biden’s Political Opponents, including ME!

He added, "They allowed the daughter of a Judge, on one of the corrupt trials against me, to become the biggest fund raiser for Biden and Kamala, making many Millions of Dollars for herself and her family, but with her father, the Judge, not only refusing to RECUSE himself, but putting a gag order on me, not allowing ANY talk about their family corruption and unprecedented conflict of interest."

"Every leading legal analyst and pundit said this trial was wrong and should not have been allowed to go forward. But it did because of a Corrupt Judge who will hopefully pay a very big price for his illegal actions, someday!"
