Trump slams Joy Reid during last day of her show, calls her 'mentally obnoxious'
Nobody is mourning the end of Joy Reid at MSNBC. Her show was canceled this week and she became one of the latest in the liberal, legacy media to fall.
And thank goodness. Good riddance. All of that. President Donald Trump was also happy with Reid's exit, as he blasted her and her show as it came to a final close earlier this week.
According to reports, Trump slammed Reid, host of "The ReidOut," by calling her "mentally obnoxious" and a "racist," which are both true statements, to say the least.
The remaining segments of the liberal mainstream media put on their sad faces and pretended as though Reid's firing was some kind of surprise.
What was said?
Like he always does, President Trump held nothing back in his final thoughts on the downfall of Reid and her disgusting former show, which struggled in the ratings department just like the network it belonged to.
"Lowlife Chairman of 'Concast,' Brian Roberts, the owner of Ratings Challenged NBC and MSDNC, has finally gotten the nerve up to fire one of the least talented people in television, the mentally obnoxious racist, Joy Reid," Trump wrote on his Truth Social account.
He added, "Based on her ratings, which were virtually non-existent, she should have been 'canned' long ago, along with everyone else who works there."
Longtime MSNBC host Rachel Maddow also chimed in on her colleague's demise, calling it "unnerving."
"I think it is a bad mistake to let her walk out the door," Maddow said.
"It is also unnerving to see that on a network where we've got two nonwhite hosts in primetime, both of our nonwhite hosts in primetime are losing their shows, as is Katie Phang on the weekend."
Social media celebrates
While Reid's handful of fans expressed anger at the show's ending, most other celebrated her exit, as it's nothing short of the sweetest breath of fresh air.
"We all know, they are all about to go down. It’s just a matter of time," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "Daaaaang! Trump sure ain’t holding ANYTHING back this time!"
It'll be interesting to see who else in that world ends up without a job. It's happening at a rapid pace because network heads care about bottom lines, and people like Reid were definitely not contributing to it, as Americans are sick and tired of the left's silly narratives.
