Trump to bring Diet Coke button back to Oval Office
When Donald Trump opens the door of the Oval Office on day one of his second term, it will be as if he had never left - down to the famous red button on the Resolute Desk.
The button, which Trump used to fetch Diet Coke, is making a comeback four years after Joe Biden had it removed, the Daily Mail reported.
Trump's MAJOR change
While official Washington treated Trump like a pariah during his first go-around, Trump is entering on his second term with an unquestionable mandate after winning the popular vote.
Trump's Cabinet nominees include Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has criticized Trump's famous diet of soda and fast food as "poison", although, few would argue that Trump is lacking in energy.
Indeed, the White House is bound to get a lot livelier than it has been during the past four years under "Sleepy Joe."
Trump's first term was entertaining and sometimes surreal to watch, with his Diet Coke button serving as an unmistakable stamp of his unique, larger-than-life personality.
Trump was known to tease people with the button, which, instead of causing a nuclear launch, would call up Trump's valet with a glass of his favorite beverage.
"He does have a button on his desk, by the way ... he pushes it and they bring him a Diet Coke," Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said at the time. "He does that apparently 12 times a day ... I'm serious. That's the only button he has."
The return of the Don
Trump's valet, Walt Nauta, later followed Trump to Mar-A-Lago after he left office, and they were charged together in Jack Smith's failed classified documents case.
With Trump now heading back for another term, the White House staff will make sure everything is ready for Trump on day one - and the move-in should take about five hours.
"It’s easier because they’ve lived there before," Kate Andersen Brower, author of The Residence, told the Daily Mail.
"There aren't any mysteries about what [the Trumps] would they like to have for breakfast, how they operate, what kind of shampoo they use. I mean, they know everything already."
There is plenty for the White House staff to look forward to as Trump prepares for his second term, the Mail noted.
"He would, like, tip them cash. I was told he would hand out $50 bills," Brower said.
