Trump's peace plan brings celebration from both Israelis, Palestinians
During last year's campaign, President Donald Trump insisted that he would bring about peace in the brutal war between Israel and Hamas.
Trump appears to have been vindicated this week, with shocking footage showing him getting praise for a new agreement.
Celebrations break out in Gaza, Israel
That's according to Breitbart, which pointed to images of jubilant Gaza Strip residents as well as celebrating Israelis, some of whom wore Trump masks.
"I want to thank President Trump for bringing this amazing victory," one Israeli man declared. "That's the name for it. That's a victory. He deserves a Nobel Prize for this."
Breitbart noted how those sentiments were echoed by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum, a group whose relatives were taken on Oct. 7, 2023.
“President Trump’s determination to bring peace made possible what many said was impossible," the organization wrote in a letter to the Nobel committee on Monday.
Trump touted as deserving Nobel candidate
"We strongly urge you to award President Trump the Nobel Peace Prize because he has vowed he will not rest and will not stop until every last hostage is back home," the letter continued.
"In this past year, no leader or organization has contributed more to peace around the world than President Trump. While many have spoken eloquently about peace, he has achieved it. While others have offered empty promises, he has delivered tangible results that have saved countless lives," it added.

Meanwhile, an agricultural artist named Peter Winner reacted by writing "NOBEL4TRUMP" in giant letters on an Israeli field.
20-point peace plan emerges
The BBC outlined details of the president's 20-point Gaza peace plan, which calls for all living hostages and the remains of those who have been killed to be returned within 72 hours after Israel formally accepted the agreement.
In exchange, Israel is to release some 250 prisoners who are serving life sentences along with 1,700 Gazans who have been detained over their alleged role in the October 7 attack.
After all hostages have been returned, members of Hamas who commit to peacefully coexisting with Israel will be permitted to decommission their weapons and accept amnesty.
The plan further stipulates that "Gaza will be redeveloped for the benefit of the people of Gaza, who have suffered more than enough."
