During his time in office, President Joe Biden was confronted with multiple polls showing that Americans were troubled by his handling of the border crisis.

An example of his mismanagement came this week when Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard revealed that her office is tracking hundreds of terrorists who entered on Biden's watch.

Nearly 600 terror-suspect individuals were paroled under Biden

According to Breitbart, Gabbard's revelation came when she participated in a televised White House cabinet meeting on Wednesday.

She indicated that "almost 600 individuals with ties to other terrorists who came through our borders illegally, claimed asylum, and, under the Biden administration, paroled here within our borders."

However, Gabbard stressed that she is cooperating with Attorney General Pam Bondi and the National Counter Terrorism Center to root out terror-affiliated migrants. .

She went on to insist that the Trump administration is going after those "who are already here in our country because of the Biden administration’s four years of open borders."

Gabbard is prioritizing the search for "illegal aliens with terror ties"

Those remarks echoed a social media post Gabbard put up two days earlier in which she contrasted the Trump administration's approach to border security with that of its predecessor.

"President Trump was given a mandate by the American people to secure our borders, stop the Biden Administration’s dangerous open border policies, and ensure the safety, security, and freedom of the American people," she wrote.

"At [Office of the Director of National Intelligence], we are carrying out this mandate by prioritizing intelligence efforts to secure the southern border and stop illegal aliens with terror ties," she added.

A recent press release from Gabbard's office highlighted President Trump's decision to categorize Mexican drug cartels and foreign gangs like MS-13 and Tren de Aragua.

Proclamation accuses Tren de Aragua of "conducting irregular warfare"

A proclamation which Trump signed on March 15 accused Tren de Aragua of "conducting irregular warfare and undertaking hostile actions against the United States."

It alleged that the gang "is closely aligned with, and indeed has infiltrated" Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's hostile regime.

The organization's activities were said to consist of "brutal crimes, including murders, kidnappings, extortions, and human, drug, and weapons trafficking."
