Tulsi Gabbard says Kamala Harris's recent border visit has is 'shameless'
Former President Donald Trump has made immigration a key part of his campaign and regularly pointed to the ongoing crisis along America's southern border.
He isn't the only to do so, however, as this week saw former Hawaii Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard accuse Vice President Kamala Harris of being "shameless" in her handling of the issue.
Gabbard accuses Harris of staging a "photo op"
According to Breitbart, Gabbard lambasted Harris' recent decision to visit the border in a social media post put up this past weekend.
"Shameless," the former Democrat declared. "No other way to describe Kamala Harris' photo op at Southern border, promising to secure it after allowing 10+ million illegal aliens in the past 3.5 years as border czar."
Shameless. No other way to describe Kamala Harris’ photo op at Southern border, promising to secure it after allowing 10+ million illegal aliens in the past 3.5 years as border czar. A shameless person feels no shame because they have no conscience. That’s Kamala Harris.

“A shameless person feels no shame because they have no conscience," the former congresswoman continued before adding, "That's Kamala Harris."
Harris claims that Trump "tanked" border bill
Breitbart noted that during her stop in Douglas, Arizona late last week, Harris accused Trump of having sabotaged "the strongest border security bill we have seen in decades."
"It was endorsed by the Border Patrol union," Harris said. "And it should be in effect today, producing results in real time, right now, for our country."
"But Donald Trump tanked it. He picked up the phone and called some friends in Congress and said, 'Stop the bill,'" the vice president insisted.
She went on to allege that Trump "prefers to run on a problem instead of fixing a problem. And the American people deserve a president who cares more about border security than playing political games and their personal political future."
Bill would have increased legal immigration, expedited work permits
Harris was referring to S.4361, a piece of legislation which died after facing significant opposition from Republicans on Capitol Hill.
"That bill was awful. It killed itself," Wisconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson was quoted as telling Fox News. Johnson stressed that he was "not aware of anybody that Trump called."
Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz spoke up as well, insisting that the legislation "was never designed to solve the problem."
Breitbart pointed out that the bill would have increased legal immigration to the United States as well as provided expedited work permits for migrants arriving at the southern border.
