Under Director Kash Patel, FBI formally severs ties with Anti-Defamation League (ADL)
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) lost a major federal ally this week after FBI Director Kash Patel officially cut ties with the organization after it made disparaging remarks about TurningPoint USA -- the organization founded by the late Charlie Kirk.
According to JustTheNews, Director Patel announced Wednesday that the ties previously established between the FBI and ADL, established under left-wing lunatic former director James Comey, are now officially severed.
The ADL had the audacity to list TPUSA as an "extremist organization," prompting major backlash all around.
Comey, after establishing ties with the ADL in 2017, confessed his "love" for the group during a 2017 ADL National Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C. It was as embarrassing as it sounds.
What's going on?
Before removing the glossary after the extreme and justifiable backlash, the ADL listed TurningPoint USA in its official "Glossary of Extremism and Hate. But the damage had already been done.
The ADL had described TPUSA as being tied to "a range of right-wing extremists and has generated support from anti-Muslim bigots, alt-lite activists and some corners of the white supremacist alt-right."
Director Patel held nothing back in an X post announcing the FBI cutting ties with the organization.
"James Comey wrote 'love letters' to the ADL and embedded FBI agents with them - a group that ran disgraceful ops spying on Americans," Patel posted on X. "That era is OVER. This FBI won’t partner with political fronts masquerading as watchdogs."

JustTheNews noted:
The ADL has been criticized recently by Elon Musk and a number of Republicans for listing Turning Point USA in its "Glossary of Extremism and Hate." The ADL removed the glossary on Tuesday following the backlash.
Social media responds
Users across social media weighed in on Patel's decision to sever ties with the ADL.
"The next step is for the @ADL to lose its tax-exempt status and be investigated for un-American activities," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "SPLC needs to go as well. Comey did great harm to the FBI."
"Have the agents who colluded with the ADL been fired? Should be a no-brainer," another social media user posted.
