Vivek Ramaswamy Meets Criteria To Enter First Debate

2024 Republican anti-woke businessman Vivek Ramaswamy's campaign announced a few days ago that he had met the criteria set forth by the Republican National Committee to qualify for the first debate.

Some of the qualifications are to have at least 40,000 individual donors and to be polling at least 1% in three separate polls.

Ramaswamy is doing both of those things, something that even some veteran Republicans are having trouble saying.

Reports indicate that Mike Pence, the former vice president of the entire country, might be having trouble getting to 40,000 individual donors.

Ramaswamy is NOT having that problem, already having blown past 65,000.

The anti-woke businessman could soon double the minimum requirement.

Vivek is also polling at least 1% in three separate polls.

Behind Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy is often being reported as the third most popular Republican right now.

That honor used to belong to Mike Pence, and some polls are still high on Tim Scott, but Vivek Ramaswamy is a man who's stock really seems to be rising.

What's surprising is that Vivek really started gaining support after he made shockwaves as the first Republican candidate to pledge to pardon Donald Trump during the first day in office if Ramaswamy was to win the whole thing.

Since then, it seems as though Vivek Ramaswamy has taken a lot of supporters from Ron DeSantis, although it really hasn't been shown yet that Donald Trump himself should be worried about Vivek.

It might be hard for Ramaswamy to ever overtake Trump if the things that make him most popular is the fact that Vivek isn't afraid to agree with what Trump is saying.

Still, Vivek Ramaswamy claims that he is excited about this opportunity:

"The RNC’s debate stage criteria are stringent but fair," Ramaswamy said in a statement. "I am a first-time candidate who started with very low name ID, no political donors, and no pre-existing fundraising lists. If an outsider can clear the bar, politically experienced candidates should be able to as well: if you can’t hit these metrics by late August, you have absolutely no chance of defeating Joe Biden in the general election."
