VP Harris humiliates herself with a baseless attack on Trump

Vice President Kamala Harris just humiliated herself by launching a baseless attack on former President Donald Trump.

Reuters reports that the incident took place on Friday, when Harris held a 2024 campaign event in Arizona.

The timing is significant here. Harris gave a speech just after President Donald Trump, on Friday evening, held a press conference alongside House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA).

And, both Harris's and Trump's remarks came after the Supreme Court of Arizona reverted the state to a 160-year-old abortion law that outlaws all abortions except those necessary to save the life of the mother.

It's all Trump's fault

Harris, during her speech, essentially tried to claim that the Arizona Supreme Court decision was all Trump's fault.

"We all must understand who is to blame: former President Donald Trump did this. A second Trump term would be even worse . . . If Donald Trump gets the chance, he will sign a national abortion ban," she said.

If you have been following this issue, then you know that Harris's remarks are an egregious mischaracterization of what has happened and of Trump's abortion stance.

Here's the truth of the matter:

Harris blamed the situation on Trump because Trump put three conservative justices on the U.S. Supreme Court - three conservative justices who helped to overturn the landmark pro-abortion case Roe v. Wade.

This decision, in contrast to what Harris and other Democrats have claimed, has not outlawed abortions. Rather, it has returned to the issue of whether abortions ought to be legal to the people and their state legislators.

Furthermore, Trump has never advocated for a nationwide abortion ban. Rather, he has expressed satisfaction that the Supreme Court has returned the issue to the people. Other than that, Trump has suggested that he is in favor of exceptions to anti-abortion laws - such as for rape and incest - and he has come out against late-term abortions.

Trump, in fact, has actually been criticized by some Republicans about his abortion stance, which just goes to show how absurd Harris's remarks are. And, to further highlight the absurdity, Harris actually blamed the Arizona Supreme Court decision on Trump after Trump expressed dissatisfaction with the decision and told the Arizona legislature to fix it.

It's a complete joke.

Harris's attack on Trump is the epitome of misinformation. She is relying on the ignorance of her listeners.

Trump, for his part, has not responded to Harris. Trump, in fact, hardly ever says anything about Harris.

The reason is obvious: nobody seems to care about her and nobody seems to like her. So, why would he waste his time on her?
