The White House and the Biden family have already released statements, and the world is in absolute shock.

It's cancer.

When the world learned about Princess Kate Middleton's recent cancer diagnosis, literally millions of people reached out with support for Kate.

Even the Biden family and the White House got in on the action.

"We just heard the terrible news, our thoughts are with the Duchess of Cambridge...during this incredibly difficult time," said White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. "We are incredibly sad."

Middleton certainly lives a life that most of us could only dream of, but that doesn't mean Kate is without her challenges.

Despite recently assuming the title of Princess of Wales, a cancer diagnosis has proved to the world that being a princess isn't always a fairytale.

They still have their problems too.

Like cancer.

Middleton told the world by releasing a video statement: "I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I have been recovering from surgery. It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I've had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful."

Perhaps Kate Middleton's elevated status is what made people like the Biden family so sympathetic to her situation.

They know that despite owning all of the riches and power in the world, that doesn't necessarily make you happy without the right people around you.

"Jill and I join millions around the world in praying for your full recovery, Princess Kate," Joe Biden tweeted.

Jill Biden followed up with her own message on the platform formerly known as Twitter: "You are brave, and we love you."

With all of Joe Biden's health complications and the concerns around him regarding his advanced age, it's kind of surprising that Joe is the one sending well wishes, not receiving them.

The way Joe's mind and body have been deteriorating lately, you would think that he would be the world leader needing thoughts and prayers.
