White House doctor confirms Trump has common, age-related medical condition
With regard to age, President Donald Trump, self-admittedly, isn't a spring chicken anymore. He'll be 80 next year, and with that kind of age comes the possibility of certain medical conditions.
The left wants to make a really big deal out of Trump's most recent diagnosis, which is age-related and very normal for a person of his age. Unlike former President Joe Biden, Trump is actually in excellent health for his age.
According to a piece from The Hill, the president "has chronic venous insufficiency, according to the White House physician. The condition occurs when a person’s leg veins struggle to pump blood back to the heart, causing blood to pool."
The news came in the wake of a physician's report that indicated otherwise, that Trump is in great health and fit for duty.
What's going on?
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt made the announcement of Trump's condition earlier this month.
The announcement came in the wake of several images that had floated around social media that showed Trump's slightly swollen legs and some bruising on his hands.
"I know that many in the media have been speculating about bruising on the president’s hand and also swelling in the president’s legs. So, in the effort of transparency, the president wanted me to share a note from his physician with all of you today," Leavitt said before providing a full explanation.
She added:
She said the bruising on his hands is “consistent with minor-soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin, which is taken as part of a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen.”
Of course, Democrats tried everything to make it appear as if Trump is in dire medical straits, but he's not. His condition, called chronic venous insufficiency, is quite common and very treatable.
Most importantly, it doesn't have any effect on his cognitive and physical capabilities, unlike whatever condition(s) plagued his predecessor.
The truth hurts
At least, it hurts the left. As the left-leaning outlet pointed out, Trump's health diagnosis, which was healthy and normal, "shocked" some on the left who had been falsely claiming Trump's health was poor.
It's not. His health is just fine, and shockingly better than Biden's -- it's not even close.
Trump got a clean bill of health and the left -- and their media allies -- can't stand it.
Only time will tell what they'll try to lie about next.
