Twitter owner Elon Musk called for Anthony Fauci to be jailed, prompting an explosive response from the White House over the "dangerous attack" on the apparently infallible "public servant."

Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre angrily asserted that America must be "thankful" to Fauci for saving "countless lives" after Musk wrote in a tweet, "my pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci."

White House explodes at Musk

Fauci lied to Congress about funding "gain-of-function" virus research in China, Musk said in a follow-up tweet, alleging Fauci is responsible for creating the COVID pandemic and causing "millions" of deaths.

Musk also posted a Lord of the Rings meme depicting Fauci as the villainous Wormtongue, whispering into Biden's ear, "just one more lockdown, my king."

Fauci's acolytes lashed out at Musk in a rage, with former CIA boss John Brennan, who like Fauci has been credibly accused of perjury, calling his fellow swamp creature a "national hero."

There was more adulation at the White House Monday, as Jean-Pierre blasted Musk for daring to question the august Lord Fauci's enormously consequential record as the unelected face of America's pandemic response.

"These attacks — these personal attacks that we’ve been seeing are dangerous — on Dr. Fauci and other public health professionals as well; are — they are disgusting; and they are divorced from — from reality.  And we will continue to call that out and be very clear about that," she said.

Fauci the infallible?

To those who suspect that Fauci might have a political bias, Jean-Pierre said, "Dr. Fauci has served under seven Republican and Democratic presidents."

"We cannot forget that.  He has given — he has given his almost entire career to civ- — to civil service, public ser- — as a public servant," she said.

Fauci, who is mercifully stepping down from his government roles this month, told CNN Sunday that he became a target of the "far-right" not because of his totalitarian measures, constantly shifting guidance or misleading statements, but because he heroically contradicted former President Trump.

“I couldn’t stand there and be complicit in saying hydroxychloroquine works when it doesn’t, you know, bleach works, it doesn’t,” he said. “That is how I evolved into public enemy number one of the far-right.”

Musk hints at Fauci dirt

The Biden White House has long shielded Fauci from virtually all criticism. During his final briefing last month, Jean-Pierre berated a reporter for pressing Fauci about COVID's origins, telling the journalist, "I’m done. I’m done with you right now."

Musk, who has faced huge backlash for curtailing and exposing leftist censorship under Twitter's previous owners, hinted that the Twitter Files will shed light on Fauci's misdeeds and Twitter's censorship of doctors and scientists who dissented from his draconian agenda.

"Oh it is coming bigtime," Musk wrote.
