White House hasn't released visitor logs from month that Biden dropped out of election

Speculation is still swirling regarding President Joe Biden's ouster from the 2024 presidential race, and many want to know the finer details of who the president was speaking with in the days and weeks leading up to his bombshell decision.

According to Fox News, that's proving more difficult than it should be, as the White House has refused to release visitor logs from the month Biden dropped out of the race.

That was from July, and watchdog groups are attempting to find out who was coming and going at the White House in the time leader up to his decision to exit the race.

The White House typically makes visitor log data available to the public at the beginning of each month, but have now gone far past that deadline.

What's going on?

The most recent visitor logs published to the public were on Oct. 4, covering visitors to the White House up to June 26. Biden dropped out of the race on July 21.

Ironically, Biden and his administration were praised for consistently releasing visitor logs to the public, marking it as part of their efforts to be one of the "most transparent" administrations to ever be in the White House.

Where is the transparency?

The White House also got a little shaky on visitor log data after it was revealed earlier this year that certain medical professionals had visited the White House around the same time Biden was experiencing what many believe were serious episodes.

Caitlin Sutherland, executive director of the right-leaning government watchdog group Americans for Public Trust, is demanding that the American people be privy to who the president was speaking with during the month he dropped out of the election.

"The American people still don’t know who was coming and going from the seat of power in the lead-up to Joe Biden’s ouster and Kamala’s coronation," Sutherland told Fox News Digital.

"At the outset, the Biden-Harris administration promised truth and transparency," she added. "Now, in the dwindling days of their term, their refusal to release White House visitor logs from such a tumultuous period illustrates just how hollow that promise was.

Social media reaction

Users across social media speculated as to why the logs have not yet been released for public consumption.

"They will never be seen. Until this country has people governing it that believe they answer to the PEOPLE NOTHING WILL CHANGE," one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "Even if they do release them, they'll be edited. The White House has no problem lying and covering for Biden."
