A senior aide who has been a part of President Donald Trump's inner circle for the past several years is set to exit the White House in the coming days.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Taylor Budowich will depart the White House at the end of the month to pursue an unspecified opportunity in the private sector, according to Axios.

Budowich previously founded and led multiple pro-Trump political action committees and nonprofit groups during the 2020 election before also joining Trump's inner circle in 2021 and the 2024 Trump campaign, after which he was rewarded for his hard work and loyalty with a prime position near the top of the administration.

Budowich a "vital asset" to Trump

Fox News reported that White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles lamented the departure of Budowich and said that he was "a dear friend, and I know that President Trump holds him in very high regard. I hate to see him go, personally and professionally, but obviously wish him well in whatever he decides is next."

Senior Trump advisor Stephen Miller described Budowich as "one of the true MAGA faithful who has poured out his heart for this movement and our President. He is universally admired and respected. No matter the issue or need, his insights and talents are sought after and valued deeply. He is and remains a cherished and loyal ally to us all."

Similarly, longtime senior Trump aide Dan Scavino told the outlet that Budowich is "an outstanding American patriot and an exceptional friend and colleague, both on the campaign trail previously and here at the White House. His unwavering dedication to advancing President Trump’s Make America Great Again agenda has made him a vital asset in Trump 2.0."

"Taylor is the kind of person you want by your side in any type of challenge, on any day of the week," he added. "I am grateful for his service to President Trump and the American people and have complete confidence that he will excel in his future endeavors. I wish him the best of luck."

"He’ll be sorely missed"

Also weighing in on Budowich's impending departure from the White House was Vice President JD Vance, who said the senior staffer has been "an invaluable asset to this administration and someone I’ve personally relied on countless times during an amazing first year in office."

"His oversight of the White House’s communications team has been an incredible success, where they’ve done an outstanding job touting the truly historic accomplishments of President Trump’s second term," the vice president continued.

"In addition to all this, he's played an integral role in coordinating this administration's cabinet agencies and our Office of Public Liaison," Vance added. "He’ll be sorely missed, but I’m sure there are big things ahead for Taylor."

Fox News reported that Budowich previously worked in senior positions with the Save America PAC and the MAGA Inc. super-PAC, and served as a spokesman for President Trump during and after the 2020 election.

In his current deputy chief of staff role, Budowich had oversight of White House communications and personnel, granting him extraordinary influence over the administration's messaging strategies and hiring/firing decisions.

An "exodus" from the White House?

Despite all evidence pointing to Budowich departing the White House on good terms, the leftist Daily Beast attempted to spin the news as a sign of a growing "exodus" of top Trump staffers from the administration.

To support that bogus narrative, the liberal outlet pointed to the recent exits of Deputy Communications Director Alex Pfeiffer, who left to join a Republican-aligned public relations firm, and Justice Department Chief of Staff Chad Mizelle, who will be leaving to spend more time with his family in the coming months.

The Daily Beast also absurdly noted the prior departure of billionaire Elon Musk, whose work establishing the Department of Government Efficiency was always intended to be short-lived, and Michael Waltz, who was previously demoted from his initial national security advisor role amid a media-fueled scandal but was just recently confirmed to represent the U.S. as the nation's ambassador to the United Nations.
