White House Physician releases 'perfectly normal' results of 'advanced imaging' scans during Trump's health exam
The latest absurd narrative from the laughably hypocritical media and some elected Democrats is that President Donald Trump is increasingly displaying signs of ill health and fatigue -- which is hilarious after they spent the last four years ignoring exactly that with former President Joe Biden.
On Monday, that narrative was debunked by the White House physician, U.S. Navy Dr. Sean Barbabella, who released a memo asserting that Trump "remains in excellent overall health" following a "comprehensive executive physical" in October, according to the BBC.
The doctor also noted that "advanced imaging" scans of the president came back "perfectly normal," effectively ending the wild speculation about Trump's health after he casually mentioned in late October that he'd undergone an MRI scan during the physical exam.
Trump's doctor conducted "advanced imaging" during the physical exam
According to the New York Post, Dr. Barbabella revealed the anti-Trump narrative-crushing news in a memo sent Monday to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, who subsequently shared the doctor's findings with the media.
"As part of President Donald J. Trump’s comprehensive executive physical, advanced imaging was performed because men in his age group benefit from a thorough evaluation of cardiovascular and abdominal health," Barbabella explained.
"The purpose of this imaging is preventative: to identify issues early, confirm overall health, and ensure he maintains long-term vitality and function," he continued.
Trump OKs release of scan results after weeks of media speculation
The Post noted that, more than two weeks after an October 10 visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, President Trump told reporters on October 27 that he'd had a "perfect" MRI, or magnetic resonance imaging, scan performed during his recent physical exam.
That surprise admission had prompted weeks of speculation about what was scanned and why, according to ABC News, and eventually led to Trump telling reporters over the weekend that he had no problems with the purpose and results of the scan being publicly released.
"So, if they want to release it, it's okay with me to release it. It's perfect," Trump said. "But if you want to have it released, I'll release it, absolutely."
As for which part of his body was the focus of the scan, the president replied, "I have no idea. It was just an MRI -- what part of the body? It wasn't the brain, because I took a cognitive test and I aced it."
Trump's scans came back "perfectly normal"
The Post reported that, according to Dr. Barbebella's memo, President Trump's chest and abdomen were what had been targeted by the advanced imaging scan, and as previously noted, everything appeared to be "perfectly normal."
"President Trump’s cardiovascular imaging is perfectly normal," the doctor wrote. "There is no evidence of arterial narrowing impairing the blood flow or abnormalities in the heart or major vessels. The heart chambers are normal in size, the vessel walls appear smooth and healthy, and there are no signs of inflammation, or clotting. Overall, his cardiovascular system shows excellent health."
"His abdominal imaging is also perfectly normal," he continued. "All major organs appear very healthy and well-perfused. Everything evaluated is functioning within normal limits with no acute or chronic concerns."
Barbebella concluded, "This level of detailed assessment is standard for an executive physical at President Trump’s age and confirms that he remains in excellent overall health."
