Congressional assassination attempt task force to be led by Republican from Butler, Pennsylvania
By now, you've heard the story of the attempted assassination against Donald Trump that took place in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Gross incompetence by America's Secret Service has been exposed as the reason Thomas Crooks was able to get so close to Donald Trump and get a shot off, and America's Congress is setting up a task force to investigate exactly what went wrong on July 13, 2024.
Perhaps the most sickening aspect of this entire story is that it may have been entirely caused by Jill Biden's nepotism.
Kimberly Cheatle
When Kimberly Cheatle was hired to be the boss of the Secret Service in 2022, her appointment definitely raised a few eyebrows. Cheatle did not have the experience or pedigree that you would expect out of the person who was leading the entire Secret Service.
For a while, it wasn't clear how or why Cheatle was appointed to such an important position despite her lack of accomplishments, but the truth eventually came out.
Kimberly Cheatle had been a longtime friend of America's First Lady, Jill Biden. Just like America has seen Joe Biden favor his son Hunter Biden instead of the rule of law, the Bidens simply appointed their little buddy Cheatle to lead the Secret Service, not thinking of the consequences it could have.
July 13 assassination attempt
Many things went wrong on the day that Thomas Crooks was able to fire off multiple shots toward our president and kill one of Trump's loyal fans. The more we learn about what went wrong, the more it became clear that it was almost entirely the Secret Service and Kimberly Cheatle's fault.
First of all, Cheatle didn't even provide Donald Trump with the appropriate level of protection. Reports indicate that Cheatle was giving top tier protection to her friend Jill Biden at a level that Trump was not receiving.
Second of all, the diversity hires in America's Secret Service meant that we weren't getting the best people for the job on the site. This couldn't have been more clear than when Trump was able to shout "Fight! Fight!" over his Secret Service protectors after he had been shot.
While that was an iconic moment, it NEVER should have been able to happen. It only happened because the woman Cheatle had guarding the front of the president was like a full foot shorter than Trump, leaving Donald's head completely exposed.
Let's hold them responsible
Kimberly Cheatle's incompetence, Jill Biden's nepotism, and Kamala Harris' DEI demands all converged to create a perfect storm that almost led to Donald Trump being killed.
Now, America's Congress is going to investigate the incident and make sure those responsible are held accountable.
Speaker Mike Johnson and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries recently announced that seven Republicans and six Democrats will form a panel to investigate what happened that day. Representative Mike Kelly, a Republican from Butler, was tasked to lead the force.
Let's hope that Mike Kelly and the rest of the Congressmen on this task force can get to the bottom of what really happened on that day. America would like to see Cheatle and Jill Biden held responsible for getting Donald Trump almost killed.
