Melania Trump reemerges to host major fundraising event
Former First Lady Melania Trump has kept a relatively low profile over the past few years, leading some political observers to suggest that she might not play a role in her husband's campaign.
However, Page Six announced that the former first lady recently defied expectation this week by helping to organize a major event.
Trump Tower fundraiser brought in $1.4 million for Republican group
According to the publication, Mrs. Trump hosted a fundraiser for the Log Cabin Republicans at Trump Tower this week which raised $1.4 million.
She was said to have worn "fire engine red Valentino dress with appliqué flowers in the same fabric and Christian Louboutin pumps," an outfit that left those in attendance "stunned."

Also present at the event was former Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway and former Georgia Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler.
Other attendees included a number of Trump administration veterans, such as former Acting Director of the United States National Intelligence Richard Grenell and former United States Attorney General Matt Whitaker.
Mrs. Trump praised for taking "the time to speak with everyone"
"Hors d'oeuvres and Champagne flowed as the first lady generously welcomed the guests to her home with off-the-cuff remarks," one attendee was quoted as saying.
Page Six also noted that in addition to hosting her own fundraiser, Mrs. Trump also attended another Republican function put on at the Fifth Avenue home of finance mogul Duke Buchan and his wife Hannah.
"Both events were sold out in a short period of time," a source told Page Six. The source recalled how Mrs. Trump looked "elegant" and "took the time to speak with everyone."
Mrs. Trump's hands-off approach to the former president's campaign stands in sharp contrast to that of her successor.
