Vice President Kamala Harris' decision to campaign on the shoulders of the Biden-Harris administration has come into some unique challenges.

Chief among those issues are the mistakes that President Joe Biden has made, considering that Harris has highly praised the Biden campaign as a model for her own potential presidency going forward.

One of the most serious complaints for the Biden administration is the disastrous withdrawal of military presence in Afghanistan.

Because of the horrible outcome of that withdrawal, according to a report by Breitbart News, a veteran also in the race has had some harsh words for Harris and the administration in which she serves.

From Vance

Sen. JD Vance, the Republican vice- presidential hopeful and a former member of the United States Marine Corps, delivered some pointed remarks to Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday.

In reference to the botched withdrawal of the United States military from Afghanistan Vance believes the administration should have done more in response.

“To have those 13 Americans lose their lives and not fire a single person is disgraceful. Kamala Harris is so asleep at the wheel that she won’t even do an investigation into what happened but wants to yell at Donald Trump for showing up.

“She can go to hell!”

Leading Up to the Comments

This comment was made after the Harris campaign had blasted former President Donald Trump for visiting Gold Star families who had lost loved ones during the pullout.

The loss came when a suicide bomber struck American forces who were ordered to carry out the hastily planned departure.

Following the fact that Trump met with the families at Arlington Cemetery and that corporate media outlets reported that there was an altercation between a cemetery employee and Trump campaign aides regarding the taking of photographs and filming at the ceremony, the Harris campaign referred to the incident as "pretty sad" and criticized the former president.

The relatives of the deceased individuals who are being honored by Trump issued a statement in which they stated that they had granted permission for the photographs and videos to be taken by Trump's official videographer and photographer.

Families Statement

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to President Donald J. Trump for his presence and the recent Section 60 gathering, honoring our children and their fallen brothers and sisters.

We had given our approval for President Trump’s official videographer and photographer to attend the event, ensuring that these sacred moments of remembrance were respectfully catpured and so we can cherish these memories forever.

We are deeply grateful to the president for taking the time to honor our children and for standing alongside us in our grief, offering his unwavering support during such a difficult time. His compassion and respect meant more than words can express.
