While she would obviously never admit it at this stage in the game, Vice President Kamala Harris has to be experiencing some level of regret for selecting serial liar and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) as her VP running mate.

Walz has been mired in controversy surrounding the myriad lies he's told regarding his military record and service.

Some have even suggested that his lies amount to stolen valor, and veterans across the nation are justifiably ticked off about it.

According to the New York Post, in a recent interview, a group of Army National Guard veterans slammed the progressive, lying governor, with one suggesting that his stolen valor actions should land him in "Gitmo."

What did they say?

In a recent interview with podcast host Megyn Kelly, a group of Army vets commented on Walz's various and continuing lies about his military service, and none of them were happy with him.

The Post noted:

Tom Behrends, Paul Herr, Tom Schilling, and Rodney Tow told SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly in an interview released Monday about their time serving as Guardsmen with Walz, who last month was chosen as a running mate by Vice President Kamala Harris.

"He’s a habitual liar,” Herr said. “He lies about everything. He lies about stuff that doesn’t make sense."

He added, "We have stolen valor [because] people make decisions that are cowardly, and they come back and they try to live vicariously by robbing … all the other soldiers of all the benefits … and all the sacrifices."

Retired Command Sgt. Maj. Tom Behrends jumped into the conversation and held nothing back as he excoriated Walz and his history of lying about his service record.

"He’s a military impersonator," Behrends said. "He took his uniform, and he literally turned it inside out and went off into whatever other realm he did, which was vote against anything that went on in Iraq, vote against Gitmo, vote against whatever."

More lies

Herr called out Walz regarding his essentially skipping his Iraq deployment so that he could run for Congress.

"He told me and other sergeant majors in the meetings that, ‘You can count on me. I will deploy with my unit,'” said Herr. “His words to my ear and others.”

“We’re all long in the tooth. We could’ve retired,” added Herr. “We didn’t.” … And that’s the position that he was in.”

There's no telling what else will come out in the coming weeks before the election.
