The CBS program "60 Minutes" aired an interview this week which featured Vice President Kamala Harris responding to a variety of questions.

Yet in a move that critics are calling an act of political collusion, the show chose to edit one of her answers to make it seem more coherent.

Harris originally gave rambling answer when asked about Israeli prime minister

According to Fox News, the interview which "60 Minutes" ran on Monday evening originally aired the prior morning on "Face the Nation."

At one point, host Bill Whitaker asked the vice president about why it appears that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu doesn't listen to the United States.

"Well Bill, the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by, or a result of, many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region," Harris responded.

Trump campaign's press secretary calls for release of full transcripts

Yet Fox News noted that when "60 Minutes" rebroadcast the interview, Harris' answer to the question sounded far more concise.

"We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end," Harris was shown saying.

Karoline Leavitt serves as the Trump campaign's national press secretary, and Breibart reported that she put out a statement denouncing "60 Minutes."

"On Sunday, 60 Minutes teased Kamala’s highly-anticipated sit-down interview with one of her worst word salads to date, which received significant criticism on social media," Leavitt wrote.

"During the full interview on Monday evening, the word salad was deceptively edited to lessen Kamala’s idiotic response. Why did 60 Minutes choose not to air Kamala’s full word salad, and what else did they choose not to air?" she demanded.

Fox News host: "Kamala Harris' media blitz is already bombing"

Leavitt was not alone in speaking up about Harris' interview performance, as Fox News host Jesse Watters responded to it with mockery.

"Kamala Harris' media blitz is already bombing," Watters declared on Monday."'60 Minutes just grilled her on immigration -- she had nothing."

The television host also seemed puzzled by the fact that Harris began laughing when spoke of owning a Glock handgun, saying, "I'm not sure what's so funny about that."
