Hillary Clinton made headlines this week after she tried her best to stay in the conversation on her side by launching an attack on President Donald Trump's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

According to the Daily Mail, Clinton, a multiple-time presidential loser, fired a shot at Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy's announcement regarding DOGE announcing it would "plug in" to the FAA and upgrade America's aviation systems.

Clinton slammed the idea, making fun of Musk and his team behind the DOGE initiative.

In response, Duffy torched Clinton and Democrats like her, telling her to "sit this one out" and blaming America's infrastructure problems on her and establishment politicians.

What happened?

"Madam Secretary, with all due respect, 'experienced' Washington bureaucrats are the reason our nation’s infrastructure is crumbling. You need to sit this one out.

Duffy's response came after Clinton trashed the people behind the DOGE effort, taking aim at their ages.

"They have no relevant experience," Clinton remarked. "Most of them aren't old enough to rent a car. And you're going to let them mess with airline safety that's already deteriorated on your watch?"

Clinton went on to make several remarks about the state of the aviation industry, noting that there were two recent crashes, one of them involving a Blackhawk helicopter that crashed into an American Airlines commercial jet carrying over 60 people.

The Daily Mail noted:

'US airlines had gone 16 years without fatal crashes,' she responded. 'Then MAGA fired the FAA chief, gutted the Aviation Security Advisory Committee, and threatened air traffic controllers with layoffs.'

Social media responds

Users across social media weighed in on Clinton's comments, and she didn't have much in the way of friends backing her up.

"People complaining about young accomplishers working at DOGE didn’t know how to handle sensitive classified material on personal email servers," one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "Madam ex-Secretary of State, I strongly suggest you go over there in the corner and keep your little opinions to yourself. You are the ineffective past for many, many years. You should be indicted!"

It seems as though every time Hillary attempts to be relevant, it backfires, spectacularly.
