U.S. Park Police removed mystery Trump, Epstein statues from National Mall
Democrats have worked overtime to pretend to care about Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged connection to President Donald Trump, and have even gone as far as erecting statues that show the two men shaking hands in honor of "friendship month."
According to The Hill, earlier this week, statues of the two men appeared at the National Mall, with a plaque containing the inscription, "We celebrate the long-lasting bond between President Donald J. Trump and his ‘closest friend,’ Jeffrey Epstein.”
The plaque also contains an inscription that reads what some media outlets and Dem lawmakers say Trump wrote to the disgraced, dead financier for his birthday one year.
JustTheNews reported later this week that the statues were removed by the U.S. Park Police.
What's going on?
According to reports, the statues were removed over permitting issues.
"Yea let’s ignore all the leftist politicians and celebs who were closer with Epstein
JustTheNews noted:
The permit allowed the statue to remain on the Mall in Washington D.C., through 8 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, but a clause in the permit said it can be revoked any time if the permit holder was notified at least 24-hours in advance.
Photos of the statues immediately went viral, though mystery remains behind who built them and placed them.

The White House responded to the placement of the statues, and shot down any "friendship" link between Trump and Epstein.
"Democrats, the media, and the organization that’s wasting their money on this statue knew about Epstein and his victims for years and did nothing to help them while President Trump was calling for transparency, and is now delivering on it with thousands of pages of documents," the White House said.
Social media responds
Users across social media weighed in on the statue incident.
"Yea let’s ignore all the leftist politicians and celebs who were closer with Epstein," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "I'd LOVE to know what politicians funded that and what monies they used. I wouldn't be surprised if mini Obama or one of the 'ladies' was involved."
Only time will tell who was behind the stunt, which seemingly failed to catch traction.
