DANIEL VAUGHAN: It's Time For Donald Trump To 'Unleash Hell'
Hamas has violated the ceasefire deal. Donald Trump has long promised that if Hamas didn't turn over all the hostages or abide by the ceasefire deal he helped broker before Inauguration Day, he'd unleash hell on Hamas. That time is now. Hamas is taunting Trump, the United States, Israel, and humanity to stop them. That time is now.
Under the terms of the agreement, Hamas has to turn over hostages and the remains of those they kidnapped and murdered. The latest round of hostages revealed Hamas had murdered two children, including a baby. Among the bodies Israel was supposed to receive were Ariel and Kfir Bibas and their mother, Shiri.
Hamas returned the bodies of Ariel and Kfir Bibas and of Oded Lifshitz. However, "Specialists at Abu Kabir Forensic Institute were not able to identify the fourth body."
Israel has no idea who the body of the fourth person is, as it matches none of the records of the missing hostages. Unfortunately, the reason Hamas did not turn over the body of Shiri is that it would be an admission of how they treated the women they killed.
According to reports:
Using forensic evidence and intelligence, authorities assessed that the two young boys were" brutally murdered" by terrorists in November 2023, according to the IDF statement. Ariel was 4-years-old and Kfir was 10-months-old when they were killed.
This is how Hamas treated babies and young children. After kidnapping hostages on October 7, Hamas executed a baby a month later. It is likely they raped, tortured, and did much worse to Shiri. Releasing her body would allow forensics to tell us what they did to her.
Hamas released the bodies in a grotesque display using barbaric coffins and claims they'd "arrested" the hostages. "Crowds of Palestinians had gathered near the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis to watch the theatrical handoff staged by Hamas that morning: Four coffins placed on a stage in front of a cartoonish, vampiric picture of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister. Triumphant music thumped in the background."
It was a vile display of open antisemitism. In fact, those words sanitized what the ceremony was; it was a celebration of murdering and dehumanizing Jews. Hamas gloried itself on Jewish blood, taunted the victims and their families, and now dares the United States and Israel to do anything.
The display was so awful that it forced the United Nations Human Rights Chief to speak up. The same United Nations that is filled to the brim with antisemitism and funds terrorist organizations that have harbored Hamas and killed Jews.
UN rights chief Volker Turk said, "The parading of bodies in the manner seen this morning is abhorrent and cruel, and flies in the face of international law ... under international law, any handover of the remains of deceased must comply with the prohibition of cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment, ensuring respect for the dignity of the deceased and their families."
U.S. Envoy Adam Boehler was livid over it. He said of Hamas, "If I were them, I'd release everybody or they are going to face total annihilation."
That describes where we are. Hamas has once again violated a ceasefire, and they dare anyone to answer them. This is where the ball has landed back in Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu's court. Americans are still being held hostage by Hamas.
This is the first big test of Trump's power and word. Hamas is claiming his words on unleashing hell are a bluff. I understand it's a difficult situation with hostages, but Hamas must get brought to heel. They cannot be allowed to disgrace the ceasefire, those alive, and the dead just so they can celebrate dead Jews.
The time for half-measures is over. Hamas has ended any notions of a peace deal or a two-state deal. Hama is not a legitimate organization. They cannot be reasoned with, talked to, or expected to hold to any agreements. And most importantly of all, whatever happens on the backside of dealing with hostages, Hamas cannot be allowed to continue.
This is not just an Israeli issue. It is one for Americans. Hamas murdered our people, kidnapped our citizens, and executed people in our families. Hamas does not care what they're aiming at, only that it ends in death.
We should grant them their wish and end their existence. The time for Donald Trump to follow through with unleashing hell is now. If not now, when? Hamas doesn't believe him or the Israelis. The time for their fear is now, and we must unleash that on Hamas, Gaza, and their Palestinian supporters.
Unleash hell, President Trump.
