It's becoming alarmingly regular to see leftist domestic terrorism. We've had assassination attacks, executions, and now a sniper attacking an ICE facility. Once again, the killer's motivation left little to doubt. And, once again, we're listening to liberals come up with excuses for why this attack also falls into the responsibility of Republicans.

The bullets used in the attack had "ANTI-ICE" written on them. His motivation was clear, as evidenced by his written statements, in which he admits to everything. When the FBI raided his home, they found everything.

Acting U.S. Attorney Nancy Larson laid out the evidence. She said, "a collection of notes found at Jahn's residence showed an animus towards ICE agents and that he had been planning the attack for some time. [Kash] Patel said agents found a handwritten note that read: "Hopefully this will give ICE agents real terror, to think, 'is there a sniper with AP rounds on that roof?'"

The FBI added, "A month before Jahn unleashed a hail of bullets against immigration officials, he searched 'apps that tracked the presence of ICE agents.'" He also spent extensive time finding the video of Charlie Kirk being assassinated, and was motivated by that.

In other words, the shooter in question talked about and referred to ICE in ways that are common on the left. There's not much separation between that rhetoric and the average Democrat smugly referring to anyone in ICE as fascists.

These events also show why California's unconstitutional law demanding that ICE agents remove masks is such a garbage law. Gavin Newsom and Democrats want to use the faces of ICE agents to dox them and bring direct harm to the men and women serving in these roles. ICE is doing one job: enforcing the laws that Congress has passed on immigration enforcement. 

Democrats grew accustomed to four years of Joe Biden enforcing little. But that's not how the law is written. A federal agency doing what the law says and deporting illegals is something that has gone through the political process; we basically voted on it again when re-electing Donald Trump, and enforcing those laws is the democratic process.

Democratic insistence that we do nothing is a breach of democratic norms. Going further by demonizing agents tasked with enforcing the law is a step further into the bizarre. 

That brings us to the next point: gun control wouldn't have done anything. The shooter bought an 8mm bolt-action rifle. And while the 8mm aspect of this is a little rarer, the bolt-action part of this is the same as the one used in the Charlie Kirk assassination. It's a standard hunting rifle action on a firearm, and no gun law, beyond background checks, would have done anything. 

Unless Democrats are changing and now demanding that all guns be confiscated, the typical gun control mantra wouldn't have stopped this event. The same is true of Charlie Kirk's killing. Both firearms are likely legal in heavily restricted places like the United Kingdom. 

If the strictest of gun control laws wouldn't have prevented anything from happening, the only way "more gun control" is needed is if you're pushing for outright gun confiscation of all types. Some Democrats do want that. However, most people don't want to say that because it's the most extreme position available. 

And on gun control, I will repeat this until I'm blue in the face. The gun control movement died the moment Democrats chose to side with cities burning down while attacking police officers during the Defund the Police movement. 

You can have no policing at all, or you can have no firearms. You cannot have both of these positions. 

But there is one commonality between these two cases: both shooters were left-wing extremists. The link between Charlie Kirk's assassination and the ICE facility murders is that both involved assassins who hated anyone on the right. We can say those going around murdering anyone while screaming "Free Palestine" are in a similar boat. 

Democrats are refusing to acknowledge reality. The murderers emerging from that fog of misinformation and fake news are toxic. The killers repeat, and the language of liberals is used to communicate how much they hate the right. And those points are being heard loud and clear.

The continuing outbreak of political violence lends more and more credibility to Trump's decision to declare Antifa a terrorist organization and to target radical left-wing groups for investigation. Joe Biden targeted parents protesting at school board meetings. We're looking to get to the bottom of all the absurdities of that era now.

We're seeing too many "lone wolves" doing the same thing to not act in a way to prevent a contagion.
