In yet another tragedy linked to President Joe Biden's border policies, police say that a previously deported migrant murdered a woman in Michigan last week.

According to Breitbart, 25-year-old Mexican national Brandon Ortiz-Vite stands accused of killing Ruby Garcia on March 22.

ICE confirms that Ortiz-Vite was deported in 2020

Garcia was discovered by a Kent County Sheriff's Department lieutenant in Grand Rapids, Michigan on the side of U.S. Highway 131. The 25-year-old woman has suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

When Ortiz-Vite was arrested two days later he was found to be in possession of a gun and allegedly admitted to Garcia's killing. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed to Breitbart that Ortiz-Vite was deported from the United States in 2020.

The illegal alien is currently facing charges of felony murder, open murder, carjacking, carrying a concealed weapon, and felony possession of a firearm.

Fox News noted that Ortiz-Vite's arrest brought outrage from Republicans, including from North Carolina Rep. Richard Hudson.

"Under Biden, innocent lives are being cut short"

Hudson, who serves as chairman of the House Republicans' campaign arm, complained that "the murderer, Brandon Ortiz-Vite, had been deported then re-entered our country illegally. Under Biden, innocent lives are being cut short by people here illegally. Enough is enough."

Michigan Republican Rep. John James spoke up as well, slamming the president in a post on X, the social media platform previously known as Twitter.

"Biden's open border policies are costing lives in [Michigan]. TODAY, he could implement border measures, or use the authority that he already has," James declared.

"[President Biden], when is enough, enough?" the congressman demanded before calling on Biden to say the names of  Ruby Garcia and Laken Riley along with "so many more gone during your [administration]."

Laken Riley's says daughter's death was "senseless and avoidable"

Fox News pointed out that Laken Riley was a 22-year-old Georgia nursing student who was murdered while going out for a jog on the University of Georgia campus.

The man accused of killing her is Jose Antonio Ibarra, a 26-year-old illegal immigrant from Venezuela who has prior criminal arrests.

Allyson Phillips is Riley's mother, and she called her daughter's slaying a "senseless and avoidable tragedy" in a post on Facebook.
