Clip of Melania Trump speaking native language with group of wildfire survivors goes viral
It's truly mind-blowing how the anti-Trump left dares to mock First Lady Melania Trump over her English language skills, which are fantastic given the fact that she speaks a staggering six languages.
According to Breitbart, Melania's high intellect and compassion was on full display during her trip with President Donald Trump to areas in and around Los Angeles that were affected by the deadly and destructive fires.
While on the ground, the first lady spoke in her native Slovenian tongue to aid and comfort a survivor who spoke the same language.
The moment was captured on film, and a video clip of the encounter quickly went viral.
What happened?
After touring the areas in California affected by the wildfires aboard Marine One, President Trump, First Lady Melania Trump and California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) hit the ground to walk around and talk to some of the area residents who had been hit the hardest.
In a heartwarming clip that quickly went viral across social media, captured by RSBN news cameras, Melania spoke with a group of wildfire survivors from the Pacific Palisades area.
While speaking to the small group, the first lady can be heard conversing with the group in Serbian and Croatian in an effort to comfort them during a terrible, stressful time.
Melania Trump just had a very sweet moment with a lady from California who has been devastated by the fires 🙏❤️
Can anyone tell what language they are speaking or what they are saying? pic.twitter.com/Pb0DzkSYiy

Breitbart noted:
“I know her very well. Serbia Croatian, she was a war [refugee] child,” conservative author Peachy Keenan wrote, referring to the fire victim that Melania greeted.
“The lady told Melania ‘Ja sam ovde dosla pre 10 godina’ which means: ‘I came here 10 years ago,'” former Republican nominee for Maryland lieutenant governor Gordana Schifanelli explained.
The woman reportedly also told the first lady that she had lost everything in the fires. Melania was described as "compassionate" and "understanding" during the conversation.
Social media reacts
Not surprisingly, fans of the first lady praised her for getting on that level with the group of survivors.
"I love how she took her glasses off to give them the respect of looking them in the eye…such a simple gesture, but it means so much," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "What a sweet caring lovely First Lady. Melania is without a doubt the sweetest woman. May God bless her for her courage and grace."
The moment was certainly one that the group of survivors speaking their native languages will never forget.
