Clyburn blames 'misinformation' for Hillary's loss, says Biden could suffer same fate

Most high-profile Democrats have downplayed the fact that former President Donald Trump is winning in all of the right polls ahead of the 2024 election.

But one House Democrat in particular seems to have admitted that he knows President Joe Biden is in trouble, and he's already making excuses as to why Biden might lose.

According to the Washington Examiner, Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) is already forecasting a possible loss for Biden, and he's blaming such a possibility on "misinformation," which he claims is what sank Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential run.

Clyburn and others have shifted from pretending everything's ok to now compiling a list of excuses as to why Biden might be bested by Trump in November.

"I am still concerned"

Clyburn, in an interview over the weekend, insisted that he knows, without a doubt, that if it wasn't for "misinformation" that Clinton would have beaten Trump in 2016. He's apparently qualified to speak for the entire nation, saying "I think all of us know that."

"I am still concerned because I have been around this business long enough to know that were it not for misinformation, that Hillary Clinton would have been elected president of the United States. I think all of us know that," Clyburn said.

He added, "Decisions can be made based upon false information. That is what concerns me. I want the American voter to be well informed, blacks and whites."

Clyburn, as likely directed by the DNC forces that be, pivoted to singing Biden's praises, crediting him for student loan bailouts and other non-victories disguised as victories.

He also had to take the obligatory shots at Trump, blaming the former president for the overturning of Roe v. Wade and inciting the Jan. 6 Capitol protest.

Earlier this year, Clyburn expressed concerns over the number of Black voters who might not show up for Democrats this time around. He failed to point out the logical reason for that -- in that no matter what race a working-class American is, nobody wants to vote for the guy who was in charge during record inflation.

Angry Clyburn

The House Democrat also slammed Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) for his press conference last week held with Trump.

"We will always put this country over any candidate, and it seems as if the Speaker is putting candidate Trump over the country, of these United States," Clyburn said over the weekend in an MSNBC interview.

He added, "So when it comes to preserving this democracy, moving an agenda forward to benefit the American people, we will set aside the politics and not worry about this press conference full of bad information, misinformation, disinformation, just outright lies, and that’s what they were doing."

Imagine if Clyburn directed all of that angry energy into bettering the lives of his constituents?
